larrybritt Posted July 8 #1 Share Posted July 8 We just booked an Alaska trip for 2025 and all that was remaining was this category for a mini-suite. Can anyone give me any additional info as to what this may include different that a regular mini? We also added the Plus package so not sure if it really adds anything additional. skynight Posted July 8 #2 Share Posted July 8 Best benefit, reserve class MDR dining. Walk in anytime and be promptly seated with upgraded service.
Rare cr8tiv1 Posted July 8 #3 Share Posted July 8 (edited) Reserve Collection mini-suites are usually better locations (according to Princess). Most are mid-ship. A few are forward/aft. Do you have a specific cabin number? Which ship? In addition, you will be able to dine in the Reserve Collection MDR. It is truly a walk in/no reservation needed dining experience. They usually have a special dessert or pasta dish. Not sure about the other perks. seconds late...haha Edited July 8 by cr8tiv1
Kay S Posted July 8 #4 Share Posted July 8 You get dining in the Reserve section of the MDR and you do not have to make reservations. With this current snafu of everyone scrambling to get a reservation, this is a major perk. You also get a glass of bad sparkling wine when you check in. 🤣 The service in Reserve class is outstanding.

arizonaperson Posted July 8 #6 Share Posted July 8 @larrybritt princess.com has quite a few FAQ’s on reserve collection mini suite category cabins and amenities. Also try google,Siri, etc. Since this was not your first choice, the passengers that it is their first choice usually book it because of the dining perks.
Treasure Hunter Posted July 9 #7 Share Posted July 9 You will be very happy with your choice. The service is excellent and I believe you also get half bottles of wine and embarkation lunch.
EDDY0827 Posted July 9 #8 Share Posted July 9 Does RC still have Priority Boarding? It did when it first rolled out.
Treasure Hunter Posted July 9 #9 Share Posted July 9 Because of the medallion and the fact that there are no boarding times you really just come ( we usually get to the port at 10:30 am) and you are on the ship in 5 minutes.

Embarkation lunch is available for anyone who knows about it.
Treasure Hunter Posted July 9 #11 Share Posted July 9 Yes but they will get it in reserve class. It really works for us. Coming into the dining room when we are ready not rushing to make a reservation or having to wait when we are hungry. I’m looking forward to trying the Sanctuary restaurant on the new ships. Hoping it will be more like Princess when we started sailing in 1990. Any one remember the gong? Bon Appetite!
