geordielass2 Posted September 24 #1 Share Posted September 24 Hi We are thinking of booking Apex for the 1st time. My husband is a full time wheelchair user. Can anyone tell me if the accessible toilets are within the Ladies & Gents or are there any independent ones. He can’t use a toilet on his own and I don’t want to have to go into a Gents or take him into a Ladies. Thanks
Alakegirl Posted September 24 #2 Share Posted September 24 Stick to any M class ship. There’s a independent accessible toilet near the theater.

Thejuggler Posted September 25 #5 Share Posted September 25 There are separate accessible toilets for wheelchair users who require assistance. I had to use one when the gents I wanted to use was closed for deep cleaning.

geordielass2 Posted September 25 Author #7 Share Posted September 25 Thank you I’ve been looking at Deck plans but it’s not easy to see which are separate independent accessible toilets.
jelayne Posted September 25 #8 Share Posted September 25 You may want to reach out to the Special Needs department, they may have the info you need.
bigbenboys Posted September 25 #9 Share Posted September 25 If you book suites on the Apex. Luminae restaurant has a single use bathroom. The Retreat Lounge and the Retreat Sundeck have single use men's bathroom.

This is one thing for which there is much better provision on Royal.

You reminded me that every E Class ship has single use men & women’s bathrooms in the Retreat Lounge.
