Must say it is looking good, I look forward to seeing the completed ship. maybe you can sell it to the Power House muesum in Sydney for all to admire when completed.

most of the hulls done,how ever i have all the superstructures to do yipeee,but i will get there..cheers matt

hi another update,

 

just began putting the stern area on the model,and the aft mooring decks as well,just pinned at the moment have to finished some detail before i glue the wood on that have pins on them.went to the hobby shop and brought some deck scribing today for the wood like deks on deck 7.anyway thats all for now.cheers matt:Dp.s i put a photo of the real ship to compare i took that photo when i won the tour,it poured that day to....

How did you track down these plans? I am interested with a similar effort (maybe smaller scale though) for Sun Princess. Mind you, I think it would be a 3 year project if my home renovations are anything to go by!!

hi i should have mentioned the scale of the model is 1/200.about 51 inch long.and about 7 inch in beam.cheers matt

Thats going to be the best model of the pacific dawn in the whole pacific region, keep up the good work, Would I be right in thinking that the finished product will look something like the ships below.

i had to take some pics from my mobile,working on decks 10 and 11 balcony's and painted the decks and bulkheads tonight,next job is to make the pools and stairs that go down to deck 11 before i can glue deck 14 on,then make all the windows for balcony's how fun:rolleyes:cheers matt

hi big update on my model of p/d.i have put a hull colour of red on,just for a first coat,then after i fill holes and sand back i will put the blue on,personily i like the red.and there is also a photo showing deck 7 wood deck,let me know your thoughts cheers matt
