hi a update again,i took photos and put them on the photo bucket web site and i will give the links here as that will show more bigger photos,just added some things to deck 7 and started on the dome and bridge,wont get much done till next week again due to work and out of model stuff...trip to hobbyco when they do stock the things i want or vaggs hobbies in Miranda are good they have most things all the time,cheers matt

hi all again,

 

new photos of the final paint work,only one coat of white to go on the hull.i put up a test pot of just plain white and it seems to have done the trick,and i like the hull red and blue boot top line and the white hull. let me know your comments,what a difference a day of work does.cheers matt

hi a quick update,i put links to my last photos as i want for everyone to see the portholes i have added only to the stb side,port side can be done over easter break.next week,have a good easter everyone for next week.cheers matt

i forgot to say the portholes will be painted black,i painted them white to get another coat of white on the hull.cheers matt

hi A update,

 

i had a oops with the model.@#$@ white paint not sure if i got a bad batch or or was thick,one side was good. the other even with the top coat on was bad,so i have taken all the portholes no damage thank :p god,i will only under coat the white paint Grey and start fresh.the hulls fine and the tops.dam paint had to be the white.....:mad:anyway still going ok and i don't going to give up on it.

ahhh a update.

 

fixed the paint problem,3 news photos with the new paint and the windows on,have to the port side but i will get there,took the propeller shafts out and do again,otherwise its back to it.cheers matt:D

hi still working on the model,haven't done much just adding balcony stuff very small work,have work on tev wahine model while giving the p/d a rest come back to it for a while.will get some photos up next week,have a good weekend,oh naming would be at least 6 months away.....:D

hi there,slow as i had trouble with the pool deck but he open balcony's are giving me trouble.but i have got back to work with the model,when i was thinking how to fix the model.i built a American ddg warship.but still here and will finished it.
