Lany Posted August 17, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 17, 2008 Confused and hopefully someone can clarify... I know this is $100, but is this $100 per person or $100 off the cabin total? And what if I am Platinum, but I cruise with others in my cabin that aren't...are they still entitiled to this discount because they are cruising with me? 39august Posted August 17, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 17, 2008 It is $100 per cabin and only one person in the cabin must be platinum to get the discount.

Andy C Posted August 17, 2008 #5 Share Posted August 17, 2008 Per cabin. Just had it on Liberty a few weeks ago and again another $100 for the cabin on FOS that I booked for October.

bluefintuna Posted August 18, 2008 #8 Share Posted August 18, 2008 We are platinum also, but by booking with an online agency we got free gratuities. It shakes out better in this age of fuel charges and every other thing added on.

You still get your discount no matter who you book with. ;)
sailinglisa Posted August 18, 2008 #10 Share Posted August 18, 2008 Are these discounts with the C&A certificates or are they for every cruise once you reach platinum?
Coralc Posted August 18, 2008 #11 Share Posted August 18, 2008 They are loyalty rewards for every cruise on which you book a balcony or above cabin. They have nothing to do with the C&A savings certificates. :)
sailinglisa Posted August 18, 2008 #12 Share Posted August 18, 2008 OK - thanks! I will email my TA in the morning and ask her if she gave it to me already....if not, to add it on!
Merion_Mom Posted August 18, 2008 #13 Share Posted August 18, 2008 OK - thanks! I will email my TA in the morning and ask her if she gave it to me already....if not, to add it on! You should see it on your invoice. She has to call C&A and they have to apply it to your cruisefare.
Alexis Posted August 18, 2008 #14 Share Posted August 18, 2008 Are these discounts with the C&A certificates or are they for every cruise once you reach platinum? Is this what you are asking about? I am not familiar with them, so I am not sure. If so, I believe you can use both. Someone will correct me if I am wrong. That is if you own stock in RCCL. If you own 100 or more shares you get an additional onboard credit above and beyond all other credits and discounts you receive from Platinum/Diamond/D+ balcony discounts, C/A coupons, & booking onboard for future cruises, etc. The shareholder benefit is as follows: $250 - Onboard credit per stateroom for 14 or more nights $200 - Onboard credit per stateroom for 9 to 13 nights $100 - Onboard credit per stateroom for 6 to 8 nights $50 - Onboard credit per stateroom for 5 nights or less You can use this benefit over and over again for as many cruises as you want as long as you are a shareholder on the date of the cruise. Check out www.rclinvestor.com for more info.
DrivesLikeMario Posted August 18, 2008 #15 Share Posted August 18, 2008 The C&A discounts have nothing to do with coupons.
Alexis Posted August 18, 2008 #16 Share Posted August 18, 2008 The C&A discounts have nothing to do with coupons. Thanks. I didn't know her C&A certificates, was my "C&A coupon." :o I thought she either meant her reward certificates for Charge card or stock. I said someone would correct me. Thanks. ;)

Cruiser Steph Posted August 19, 2008 #18 Share Posted August 19, 2008 I dream of the cruise that I get my C&A Platinum (soon to be diamond) balcony discount, my stockholder's OBC AND pick the right cruise that gets a C&A Coupon on top of it! Oh, I forgot to mention that I book the cruise with my Next Cruise certificate and get my OBC for that too!! Ah...dreaming of the perfect cruise....
