Can you tell me if Peter was working the Martini Bar on Solstice? He was on Millennium last March. Probably the best bartender we've had.

Peter was there and he was a lot of fun. With Peter and Ocha doing their thing the Martini bar was as crowded as I have ever seen it. People really were into it.

A brief update from Constellation.

 

Captain Manetas is the master.

The CD next week will be Jeff Potts.

The HD is Christian Deniel a great addition to Celebrity.

 

Perry Grant will be on board till after the TA followed by a 6 week holiday. He will not be moving to Equinox and will be on board Constellation except for a break at Christmas for a month or so.

 

The Rendezvous Lounge is plagued by a dismal Jazz group who attempt to play an occasional ballroom style dance. If you like singing band members, be prepared, fellow cruisers will do better.

 

The string quartet are the best on any Celebrity ship!!!

Funny, I asked this question today, and I was told Mario is currently the Restaurant Manager on Constellation. Hopefully, Arno can confirm this.

 

I hope Mario will still be onboard for the 3/27 sailing.

Thank you very much for the update. We are very happy to hear that Perry Grant will be onboard for our sailing on 3/27. Interesting that he's not planning to move to Equinox. I cant say that I am surprised, as the M-Class layout of Michael's Club is a better option for Perry's type of performance.

 

Im sure that Captain Manetas is a fine Master, but I was hoping Captain Pagonis would be onboard. We havent sailed with him in a while, and it would have been great to see him again. Is there any chance Captain Pagonis will be back at the end of the month ?

 

One last question... I see that you mentioned Jeff Potts will be onboard next week. Who is the Current CD on Constellation ?

Last week Robert Le Forest was CD. He was nice enough but needs a bit more seasoning.

 

Enjoy your stay on Connie. Staff is great as ever..even Mario... but I don't know how long he will remain on board

Robert came on the Connie as started work November 10th. So 4 months for the contract would have him gettting off the ship around March 10th. So Andy, it's a roll of the dice if he will still be there in 18 days.

on Mercury's last cruise and Stewart slipped a note under his

door to check and see if he was ok. Actually I think he checked

on the patient twice.

Thought that was a very nice thing to do.:)
