I like the deluxe balcony on the royal class as well and I cruise solo I have found the deluxe obstructed view are a lot less expensive and if you can get one mid ship on Emerald deck the only obstruction is the promenade deck below it's classified as a DW.

There will be 2 formal nights on a 7 night cruise your journey view in the app adds things gradually and not every event is on it when on board the patter or whatever they are calling it now will have a complete list.

It's 15.00 a day unless you are platinum or elite then it's half off.

When it comes to the closest in a balcony I think it will work just fine the placement may not be the same but you will have a nice big closet to hang up and another section with shelves including the safe. I've been on the regal a few times but have never had an interior. I also sailed a few times on carnival but after trying princess I have not gone back to carnival.😊

The horizon court is not locked up you can avail yourself of the beverage stations even after the buffet is closed I have gone up there after the late show in the theater to make a hot tea no caffeine ones of course since I wouldn't want to be up all night.

There is free coffee and tea available in buffet and dining room in addition to the specialty coffee and tea for a fee or with a package.

A tip for the breakfast buffet is go all the way to the back that is where the made to order omelet station is there is usually plenty of available seats it's in the planks/steamers area there is also outdoor tables right past there you can take your food to I like sitting out there in the aft area.

You should automatically be elite for second cruise I had the same thing happen to me on a back to back if not I would go to GS also your app should say elite for second cruise for the mini bar you might want to mention to your steward as well.

Princess has been having sailings less than double on some sailings but you have to search for them. As far as the CB is concerned I will probably sail on her again since she is spending next fall and winter based out of port Canaveral and I only live two and a half ours away.😀

You have to book on the ship it is suggested to go immediately up to the sanctuary to book there will probably be a long line you will have to wait in.

I've been on the Island once and Caribbean twice I did not care for the Island it seemed more crowded and I also had problems with the shower flooding. And there is no IC on board. I believe you will be okay on the CB she is a lot better than the island, although I prefer the royal class I will be on the sky in January. Did you get less than 200 percent on your bookings I did for January 6th sky.

I was on the discovery a year ago except it was a love boat theme cruise with the cast of the old show on board. Have a wonderful cruise.

I agree about the robes they are made for thin people I think all the washing has shrinked them.

Anything is possible if you don't want to risk having princess change your cabin I would call and ask for no upgrades.
