Call me thick (wouldn’t be the first time lol) but I’m still wondering about the details … does everyone, including gty cabins, get the same offer pitched to them all at the same time? And if there aren’t enough takers, they add to the offer? Thx!

We are also on this cruise and our friends are too. How does a buyout situation work? I grasp the basic concept but have no clue on the details.

@Mudhen I’m still holding out for you that the occupants of the Regent Suite will change their minds and be a no show. Hey, could happen! Or you can bunk with us. With all of the free vodka and gin, we can surely make that work … pass the olives! 🫒

We like sea days for the specialty restaurant reservations. Less chance of splurging in a restaurant in port and more chance to enjoy a nap.

I’ve been spot checking my seabourn account to see when I can book Solis for my upcoming cruise. Today, it was finally available to book for next year so you might want to check if it’s available to book on your 2024 cruises.

Hopefully Ross is just on a break and will return to the Mariner. We are booked for autumn 2024 and WC 2026.

Ross is our favorite piano player on regent and haven’t heard a word about him in years. Does anyone have any info on this most talented entertainer? Thx!

Snorkeling and touring are great in the A-B-C islands. Be sure to walk around in curaçao and see the unique suspension bridge. One of our favorite tours was in Bonaire, called Samur sail, beach, and snorkel. Another favorite tour was in St Vincent, catamaran sail to Bequai.

We’ve been in that area on quest and it’s very bad. Bring a sound machine!

@Jimmyke Thanks so much for this fabulous video! We have never been on the Mariner but we have two cruises booked. Is Newport a good port to walk around on your own without a tour? The mansions look beautiful!

You are right that both Regent and Oceania are great companies to sail with. Many of the changes don’t make sense to me though. For example, you say you had Heraklion added to your changed itinerary and yet we had Heraklion removed from our changed itinerary (a port we were very excited to call on). We are probably going to cancel, given the 14 or so port changes and the multiple duplicated ports. Neither of us would have ever considered a 36 night Med cruise.

Our October 2024 has had all Turkish ports cancelled, along with with many others, and we were notified a couple of weeks ago. It makes no sense that yours are not cancelled. We are probably going to cancel our cruise, too many changes and too much duplication.
