  1. Look through this thread and see if anyone mentions these words. It's the weekend.
  2. That's for your cruise. The minimum number to receive the discount depends on number of ports visited on a cruise. In other words, it varies.
  3. As I said a couple of weeks ago.
  4. It's been reported that yes, you can. They will need your booking # and when they reserve them they need to select Invite Another Party, or something like that, unless it's changed.
  5. I believe Oceania used to have those curtains. There were more complaints then than now.
  6. I had an OCA tell me over dinner that they have had some people book onboard and looking at their account they see that they have over 25 cruises booked, most of them overlapping. This is one of the reasons they went to the penalties for cancelling.
  7. The OP summed it up perfectly in the above paragraph. Unless you're really tall or really large it's not really a problem. Would larger be better, yes, but it's quite workable.
  8. Thanks for a nice reality based balanced review.
  9. Then don't bring it up. Just like 90% of your posts here it's not about Oceania, so don't post it.

    Laundry

Was it dull looking when you put it in the bag?
  11. To save time you can just log in to your Oceania account, choose all booked cruises and look to the right side for the to do list, #6 is Dining Reservations with the date when they open.

It really doesn't appear that your experience is typical of most cruisers. Daily? Really? Do you just bring 3 changes of clothes?
  13. Yes, you have Tea between 4 & 5, many of those servers also are working in the various dining rooms around the ship. It would really rush those in Horizons and the behind the scenes workers from the Tea to finish up and then be ready for dinner.
  14. I usually book g-b. On occasion I take an upgrade to A, or PH, but only if it's a good deal. I usually start out as low as I can, except for the R ships, which I go to at least an Oceanview. But I'm always willing to share to get an earlier time, or not be rigid on which day I eat where. If I have to I'll eat in Specialties back to back, although we prefer to spread them out through the trip. Obviously your mileage varies.
  15. You can get the prices for air if you do a mock booking. I was looking at one today on an SE Asia cruise, I've never flown there before but it seemed just a little north of 4k for 2 economy tickets is a little steep. That is without any deviations or special requests. And I would have to drive 3 hours each way to get to the airport. I think I can do better.
  16. Oddly enough we're usually able to get early slots in the Specialties. I can't ever remember having to take anything later than 8, and that's been rare. On normal nights we either eat in the GDR or the Terrace, and you can eat in those any time after 6:30
  17. Yes they have. There have been a lot of changes.
  18. For us it's not about being hungry, it's about not wanting to go to bed on a full stomach. We tend to go to bed between 9-10 at home. If we don't get done with dinner until 9 or later then we have to try to stay up for a while, we also tend to be up around 5-6 to get ready for a full day of touring. The eating late European model just doesn't work for us.
  19. Thanks for posting the link. I just spent a little time looking at it and it appears they still need to do a little cleaning up. I would caution people to check the date when each topic was updated.
  20. Any of those you can expect a lot of foot traffic and possibly people talking in the halls, especially early in the day. I was in 9041 on Riviera once and it definitely was noisy, compounded by the entrance to the laundry right by it.
  21. Wanna spend a pile, take the kids or grandkids, or great grandkids to an amusement park. Wee Doggies. Or a big tourist area. One of the times I'm glad I don't have any, and I do like other people's kids and my nieces and nephews, but I ain't footing the bill for them at any of those places.
  22. There is a deadline for embarkation, but on a port stop I'm sure it's until the gangplank is pulled up.
  23. Was there a sale advertised? I just thought July 1 was when the price was going up and air was no longer included.
  24. Request it be stocked in your cabin in advance with your TA or whatever channel you booked through.
