  1. Non alcohol drinks are available through room service. You can ask that the mini bar be emptied but some butlers will tell you to take water soft drinks and beer.
  2. We are cruising in September and have bookings through December 2024. The cruise I am think of will not be available until late this year or early next. I asked our CVP about an open passages vs a placeholder and she recommended an open passages. Wonder if she would now recommend a placeholder. We usually only have a placeholder booking for a month or 2 but I know if we do it in September it will be longer.

  8. Wish I had known about the 4 points offer. Our final payment is due this month. I did pay some of the amount due in April but would have paid more.
  9. Yes, click on your user's name and you will see ignored users. You can enter the name there.
  10. Glad it was resolved after an hour or so. At the most, I would have asked for bottled water if I didn't have a beverage package that included it. Happens at home too when there is a water line break or a hydrant is flushed. If it is going to be a long outage they set up water buffalo's in a convenient area.
  11. How and where do you expect Celebrity's laundry to have enough room to air dry laundry? We've sent out a lot of laundry and except for a missing pair of briefs, and a small hole in the sleeve of a very old sweater never had a problem.

  13. Even if you see the menus now they are usually not finalized until closer to the sail date.
  14. I don't think so. I've had a BOA card for years and I once asked about converting it to a Celebrity CC. Couldn't do it, had to open a new account.
  15. We've used the BOA rewards several times to reduce the price of a cruise. The 1st time a cruise was cancelled the rewards went back on to the CC. The next time a cruise was cancelled the rewards were held in a file and we just had to call Celebrity to have them applied to another cruise. There is a document on line with BOA showing the order details (this is different from the Confirmation/Redemption Receipt and shows the transaction ID and Item ID). It is helpful if you have to have the points applied to another cruise.

  18. I usually request sauce or dressings on the side and Celebrity always accommodates. If you want extra sauce, just ask.

  20. How long should they hold them open if they are the only suites available? 90 days? 60 days? 30 days? 3 days? If they are not booked by final payment date they should be made available for booking.

  22. This is what we are hoping for on Beyond Panama Canal next March. We've done longer cruises in March & April and very few children. One 7 day cruise years ago out of Baltimore was over run with unruly kids. A 7 day Bermuda cruise in very late August out of New Jersey had a lot of kids but they were well behaved.
  23. Celebrity still has lobster but if you want more than 1 you will pay for the additional unless you are in a suite or aqua class. Cabin attendant will do your cabin twice a day unless you opt for Go Green. Even then you would not notice the difference unless you are a slob. When you check in you will pick a boarding time which cuts down on the time you have to hang around. Your cabin will be ready for you to drop off carry ons when you arrive. There is now a charge for room service, unless you are in a suite or order a continental breakfast. Read through the boards to see other changes.
