We will have to disagree. the information is available there is nothing private about a bankruptcy they have a starting point instead of phone calls asking for 500 they could make calls asking how can we get you back! And I presume the people who didn’t bother to seek refunds don’t care about the loss or it was minimal if the new company cared there is a lot they could do. They are not doing it and they won’t. It is their loss if they don’t address all the bad will out there both with cruisers and travel agents. it doesn’t just go away on its own I just see it very differently

  6. We were on splendor in late November. internet not great but acceptable. Our friends in lower category suites had no problem getting extra logins gratis we are now on voyager. Internet awful. Our friends in lower category suites had to pay 25 a day for an extra login. Outrageous imo. A luxury line should provide at least one free login per person. Fares are per person!!

  8. I always fly in at least 2 days early and have the luggage delivered to my hotel. I email hotel and give them heads up. My luggage is always there at least a week before I arrive
  9. I am a devout user of luggage forward. We always ship our luggage. They are the best I’ve used them at least 12 times. Flawless service

I can’t answer the specific question but you could accept the cabin and go on waitlist for next category up if u want to be sure to be on the cruise I have accepted a cabin and had my ta look for a different cabin when things open up neAr final payment. If your ta has a good relationship with someone at regent that might work
  13. You will all be glad to know we have snails back on Voyager. Happily they are in Compass Rose and not on the hull
  14. We are on Voyager. Only supply issue is lack of escargot in Compass Rose. The container didn’t make the ship. Should I cancel all my future Regent cruises??????

  16. If you and your partner each get a reserve card you will have 40 k Insurance each cardholder insures himself and his travel partner for 10k each so long as you charge the trip using both cards
  17. Not the worst travel experience I ve ever had. Lol But the regent rep at table bay was incompetent. Things were handled badly. Information was not disseminated. They sent the wrong list of guests to Westin so checkin further delayed. we are now at the Westin for one night and we board tomorrow. I am titanium with Marriott so I’m happy. In the M lounge with wine and canapés.

  19. We just took our first Regent cruise in November after being loyal Crystal cruisers (no more). We have also sailed Silversea (which we like a lot), Seaabourn and the Paul Gauguin. We have 15 cruises on Oceania (never again) and a few on Celebrity. We board Regent again on Jan 5 and we have several more booked. We now only book luxury lines. We were wowed. Splendor was gorgeous. Food, service and accommodations were superb. Entertainment and lecturers really surprised me (I was not sure Regent could equal Crystal in that area but it did). I am not crazy about included excursions so will book private in some ports as I have always done.

  22. My luggage just arrived in Cape Town -- no issues whatsoever. I am surprised to hear of these problems I have used Luggage Forward for years without incident.
  23. I just got off Splendor. 10 sea days. 10 days of duplicate.
