Apparently ncl now sells ALL Vibe slots online so even if you're the 1st onboard the ship, it's sold out. I have lots of non-refundable obc. Has anyone successfully gotten the prebuy of the vibe pass switched to obc once you're onboard? (I got a yes and no answers from 2 different people at guest services onboard the ship)

I actually have 4 b2b but cant do check-in for the 4th leg yet because you can only do check-in 21days prior. And once on the cruise, i'd probably forget. so What happens if you don't do check-in for the other leg of your b2b?

Pre-covid, there was a NCL stand at baggage claim that you can buy xfers to the ship. You showed them your e-Docs and the price gets charged to your room. it was great if you had alot of OBC. (I'll have $1000 obc for my cruise later this year) 1) After cruise restart 2yrs ago, the NCL stand was still there but you can't buy the xfer there. They were there just to direct people who bought the xfer online. You had to buy ahead of time. (ie: when you check in) Just wondering if that's still the case? 2) How much is the xfer now?

yes, different. for whatsapp, both people have to use the app. for wifi calling, it's like a regular phone call. i dont remember if the 150 min can do wifi calling. on celebrity, i can and have made wifi calls to usa but i had their upgraded streaming internet service. (ship was in south america.) so i'm assuming you can make wifi calls if you have ncl's upgraded streaming service.

i only use fbc if they have a sale on their prices else i book direct. why add a middle man? anyway, never had a problem till my cruise last week. and it occurred IN THE MIDDLE OF MY CRUISE! 4 days of hassle and wondering if the extra charge was removed, would my return flight be canceled because of more incompetence? (a one way return flight was now $2000!)

Feb 2023: It's $25 on their website. When it's time to pay, you can change your currency. I changed it to Argentinan pesos and got ARS 5095.68. then paid with a no international conversion fee Mastercard. The official conversion rate is about $1 for 170 peso. but the credit card conversion rate is $1 for 333 peso (as of 2/2023). so should be $15 usd when I get the credit for the difference in conversion rate in 3 days. (Visa is 1 day and sometimes near instantaneous.)

Tendered no problems on celebrity infinity last week. Perfect calm weather. Ncl star was 1 day behind us. Same clear calm weather from pics of angry pax on the Star. Star cancelled the port stating water was too rough for their tender ships. :o Infinity has four 2 engine tender boats. Does the Star not have double engine tender boats and we're using the underpowered single engine life boats to tender? :o

lol.. they just refilled the pan. i agree, whoever cut it from the bulk beef block should be moved to another position. most of the pieces didnt have a well defined ribeye cap (outer part of the ribeye). after my 1st serving, i made several passes before i saw some pieces that had some resemblance of the ribeye cap. but it was still tasty. tasted much better than the sirloin steak next to it.

Infinity 2/2023

Resolution: So i found out the ship's Finance dept is just following what Shoreside is giving them, which is that i owe $800 for my flight. That same Shoreside is that one that sent me my cruise booking confirmation with a line specifically for Celebrity Air, listing how much was charged ($800) and how much i paid ($800). That confirmation showed EVERYTHING was paid and I owed $0.00. Guest services escalated to Shoreside mgmt. The $800 charge was removed from my acct. Guest services was great! Glad this was a 2 week cruise. The charge appeared on Day 8 and i found out 4days later it was resolved. Don't know what would have happened if this was a 7day cruise and the charge appeared on day 5? 😮 edit: Just checked with my airline. My flight back to the USA is still there and hasn't been canceled. yeah, i'm checking again tomorrow too.

the head of blue chip is now a lady. she did an interview back in dec 2022 saying she's the head of blue chip. unless she quit too?

the problem with this is the possible hassle of booking future Celebrity cruises 😞
