This is the 2nd time airfare booked through Celebrity Air showed a balance due in my booking after i paid for the flight in the exact amount of my flight. Both times i called up Celebrity Air and they corrected the problem. Both bookings then showed $0.00 owed. Went through the flight and cruise last year from the 1st booking no problem. this cruise the problem popped up in the middle of my cruise. and yes, it caused worry/stress and time taken away from my vacation to deal with this. no more Celebrity Air for me. Don't care if it's refundable till final payment.

did not know that could happen. 😮 it's the 2nd decade in the 21st century. did not know travel companies could make mistakes like that now. i would have figured at a minimum the computer would give a warning like "He hasn't paid. Why are you issuing the ticket?"

i paid months ago. if payment didn't go through, how did i get on the plane last week to fly here? the airline wouldn't let me fly if i didnt pay. and how was i allowed on board the ship if i owed $ on my booking?

yup, i showed them my booking that includes a line for celebrity air and the $ i paid for it. it also shows the final amount owed as $0.00. and guest relations says Finance still says they have no record of me paying.

yup, the charge to my cabin is the exact same as the price of my airfare. and guest services confirmed it's from the plane ticket from celebrity air. they say Finance has no record of me paying thus charging to my acct. yeah, defies logic since i flew here. and if i had an outstanding balance, why was i allowed onboard the ship?

I'm on my Antarctica cruise. booked airfare to buenos aires on celebrity air back in july 2022 and paid back then. flew down to buenos aires last week. (yes, i paid. how else was i able to fly down here?) yesterday while on the cruise, got a charge to my cabin for the airfare ($800). Good thing i checked my expenses on celebrity app. Guest relations is looking into it. Anyone else experience this? getting charged again AFTER the flight?

yes, still taxable but why is this ship giving me a tax form? i've won equivalent of over $1200 in Mexico and no w2-g from them. why is the infinity facilitating the paperwork since the ship neither originated or going to a usa port?

there are 2 versions of lpc. each with different animations and food menu. normally it get rotated. day 1: v1, day2: v2, day 3: v1, etc or are there now 3 versions?

I'm currently on the infinity. It's like like a new ship. I was on the summit 2 months after her Revolution drydock in 2019. There was rust everywhere. Apparently they just painted over the old rust instead of scrubbing it off with a wire brush then painting. When you just paint over old rust, it'll show through. how did you use the obc in the casino?

Male, traveling Solo, Going on a cruise on the Bliss. I don't want to buy useless junk. I've been to all the ports so no shore excursions. Can't buy cruisenext certificates with non-refundable obc. Don't need/want jewelry. (ie: Tanzanite marketing scam) don't need a watch. Haven't worn a watch in 20+ yrs because cell phone and fitbit. Have done the behind the scene's tour. I could buy additional specialty dining package but that's less than $200. In the past when i had around $100 obc left over, i just bought alcohol. Not going to buy $1000 worth of alcohol since i dont drink that much. A useful thing to me would be a high end Android cell phone that takes great pictures like the Samsung S22 Ultra. Do NCL ships sell that? Any other suggestions? Thx

ncl epic's gym is HUGE: Completely the opposite of Prima. it has the most weight machines of any ship i've been on. and there's an equal amount of space dedicated to cardio (treadmills, bikes, etc) 😮 and there was more than enough spacing between machines so you're not bumping into each other

wait what? there's a fee to get back $ before final payment??? so basically there is no final payment date. no matter how early (even years), you're past final payment already

in that case do it now! there's no penalty to call everyday to get $ back till final payment. then a week before sailing, call to get future obc if price drops more

oh god... ID.me uses facial recognition to verify you. so your facial recognition is on file with the govt agency (veterans in this case) and any major law enforcement can access it for whatever reason.

thank god i didnt do a b2b and instead got off in nyc where my relative lives. (my cruise = 1800 pax) i am shocked so many people want to do a repositioning cruise to puerto rico. PR is still struggling with basic needs after recent hurricanes.

the buffet was weird. there were 3 hosts standing in the middle of each arch way before you went inside. it was like each was standing guard and you had to duel each one of them before you can get to the food. 😮 the 1st host nearest the elevators should just stand off in the side to welcome everyone. the 2nd by the alcohol gel machines should have been replaced by a washy-washy girl. and there was no need for the 3rd one by the xmas tree

so apparently we reached nyc around 4am. cruise docs said 6am so i was expecting to debark at 6am to beat rush hr traffic. capt made announcement to debark a little after 7am. i'm assuming customs wasnt ready till 7am?
