So that’s for ships where they are restocked. New(old) process resumed! I guess some ships still don’t have stock which is why they are aiming for mid March #supplychainproblems
-
FYI: On another site they have stated that all ships will be restocked with blocks by March; then they will stop sending the blocks out by post. “Home deliveries will be discontinued and they will go back to the old process of being distributed onboard only”.

You be nice to staff members. It’s purely random allocation..

Can we use OBC for the Genie gratuities?
little britain replied to suometar's topic in Royal Caribbean International
If I prepay my tips I assume it goes towards those that serve me, including my 🧞♀️ Genies. I have never heard otherwise. If the prepaid tips don’t go to the Genies 🧞♀️ then where do they go? -

If you have not prepaid your gratuities then they are automatically added on board; and yes, you can use obc to offset against the gratuities payments. There is no need for any forms. -
Radiance specialty dining options

My pre cruise planner shows 15% off supposedly with a price of £36.66 which is $44.22… hardly a saving! -
Can any recent travellers say what price they were offering Giovannis and Chops for on board please? Any deals to be had? Also just realised there is a Samba onboard- any good?! thanks

Icon - Are they prepared for the amount of kids?
little britain replied to Angie2045's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Presumably there will also be several months a year when there will be very few children on board as they are in school? I’d book those months. -
I was lucky enough to be one of the first cruise ship passengers to dock into Dammam on 1/25/23 Early arrival - off the ship by 7am to be greeted by smiling faces all welcoming us to Saudi. First surprise was there were ladies working alongside the men at immigration- some without their face covered. Saudi is getting modern! I thought as a rich country it would be all manicured pavements and flowerbeds like Dubai, but it was rather dirty, a lot of rubbish and bits of tyre 🛞 all along the roadside. We had booked the Al Ahsa oasis trip. A 2hr drive to first stop at a souk. Again overwhelmed by the welcome and friendliness of people: shouting “ welcome to Saudi” out of their car windows and taking many photos of us foreigners! We had a fabulous lunch in a boutique type hotel and then were driven to the impressive Qarah hill caves. A long 2.5 hr drive back. But what a day. Definitely do not miss an opportunity to see this amazing country! Don’t waste a day staying on ship! Fuel ⛽️ is 47p a litre and 16p for diesel! You MUST have a visa- could be purchased online for $22 and the ship printed it out for you. The visa only gets approved when the ship’s manifest is sent to the Saudi authorities 2days prior to the port call which caused much panicking onboard. Link for the visa - https://visa.mofa.gov.sa/ We got passport stamped in and out. I was surprised that MSC did not give more guidelines regarding dress… one lady turned up in a short sleeve above-the-knee dress 🤦♀️… women should be covered from wrist to ankle and men should wear long trousers. Heads do not need to be covered. MSC also offered a Free shuttle bus to Khobar. This was apparently more touristy and new with fountains snd walkways snd many restaurants. First shuttle left 07:30 and last return shuttle from Khobar to ship left at 15:00 The port are is not accessible to taxis or Ubers.

Deployment 2024-25 booking season begins
little britain replied to Biker19's topic in Royal Caribbean International
To me it seems unfinished. They have done nothing with the aft area where the slide ends… just put a few chairs there. The Promenade equivalent is visually stunning and curvy. There is a new lounge/ theatre area very like 270 -

have just cruised out of Dubai on World Europa as RCI have abandoned the region. Always a fabulous itinerary - and you should see how Doha has developed and expanded since last there in 2019! Another first was a port call into Dammam Saudi Arabia- fascinating -

Royal Caribbean status on Celebrity
little britain replied to FOXTROT's topic in Royal Caribbean International
“People” are incorrect. Nothing has changed. There is a reciprocal agreement between the lines. As Pinnacle you will be recognised as Elite and get the Elite benefits on X. X CC points do not get added to your RCI C&a total. RCI C&A points do not get added to your X CC total. -
Crown & Anchor Chef's Choice gift
little britain replied to zellmo's topic in Royal Caribbean International
The Chefs Choice is not the cookies. The Chefs Choice is something like a plate of chocolate covered strawberries, or a selection of little cakes. It is usually delivered on a formal night. You do not pick what you get. On some of my recent cruises it hasn’t been delivered at all! The cookies are actually part of the Welcome Waters & Snack + Beverage Selection ( which start at Emerald tier)
