I suspect, in your case, if a doctor was called by the nurse you would then be hit with a consult fee. This was explained to me when I walked into a glass door on X Solstice. I grazed my forehead so went to the sick bay thinking I should report any injury. The nurse explained that if I wanted it recorded she would have to call the doctor to have a look at it, log it and charge me USD100. If I let her look at the injury and slap a band aid on it, then there was no charge.

Shingles is a late in life infection as a result of having had chicken pox as a kid. I had a mild dose (shingles) about four years ago - I was lucky, it can be extremely painful. My GP said I should still get the vaccine as it could return but I had to wait about six months after the shingles to get the vaccine.

You are correct. It is Emery Point, quite close to the cruise ship dock. Cape Hotham is some distance from there in Van Diemen Gulf - I'd guess about 60-70klm. They look similar.

Thanks. I'm already aware of that. I had asked my next door neighbor, a recently retired GP, who uses the gel himself. I was desperate yesterday to have something (the Voltaren tabs) to see me through the day. It did it's job. I have the Mobic now. Will see how it goes.
