I recently bought a smart tv. It's too smart for me as I haven't yet figured out how to work all the bells and whistles so it's free-to-air for the time being. Besides, I'm a tightwad and see the point in paying for the extra stuff.
I've found the same on Singapore Airlines A380s. I always try to book these seats if possible. They also had handy storage bins on window seats and lots of leg room - which I need.
I hate them too. We had a choko vine on our back fence when I was a kid. The only thing I found good about them was I could get a bucket full and sell them door to door for threepence each to earn pocket money. This was in the days before kids got pocket money. Mum and dad would eat them - they were children of the depression. Mum, being a Sgt. cook in the WAAAFs could make excellent sauces but none of us kids (4) would touch them. Same with tripe.
"Brisbane are sending a pilot to the ship in the hope they can help get the ship to dock."
The delay was the safety of the pilot boarding. There is no way a ship is let in without one. Today (9 News) have no idea.
Which begs the question. Will positive cases be put off the ships well before they get here?
If embarking from US mainland the bug should show up before Hawaii and other ports along the way.
Watching the news lately I see there are fires in all these places, including near Bordeaux.
I was in Spain and Portugal 3 years ago when NSW was on fire. Irony?
It's a 21 day Deal of a Trip for Spain, Portugal and Morocco. Going 10 days early which we will spend in France with an Oz couple who own a house not far from Bordeaux.
I've had my Health Care card for about two years and yesterday it got me my first freebie. A box of RATs.
Still haven't had a test but I expect they will come in handy as I'm off to France, Portugal, Spain & Morocco in four weeks.
Just now on 2SM, today's "shock jock" has gone hysterical on Coral. I would like to listen to responses to see if anyone from cruise industry will call to refute everything he has said (as it was almost all wrong) but I have to leave home now for an appointment with a TA.
