  1. $200pp is crazy for any water park! For my Oct Oasis cruise it’s $88.99 which I still feel is a little high.
  2. I had a GS on deck 8 and loved the location.
  3. I finally brought my refillable insulated cup with me this past cruise with some zero calorie flavor packets. It was the best thing. I’ll never go without it again. The beverage crew in Windjammer were happy to fill it with ice and water for me and it kept me from wanting to drink high calorie drinks during the day. If I wanted to day drink I just ordered a shot or two and threw it in. This was the first cruise I didn’t gain any weight on.
  4. Reading comprehension is obviously not my strong suit today😂 That was our first time on Liberty and was expecting an Oasis/Anthem disembarkation where I’m home by 8am so I wasn’t prepared for what we experienced. Good thing I’ve decided I’m sticking with the big girls going forward.
  5. Just off Liberty a couple of weeks ago and they didn’t open the doors until 7:45. It was a complete cluster ****. Seemed like the whole ship was doing self assist. The lines were insane at 7:00. I think they advertised 7:30 disembarkation. So if you’re on Liberty I wouldn’t count on being off before 8am.
  6. They had them in the Windjammer and and the cafe everyday on Liberty a couple of weeks ago. The mudslide cookies are also very good.
  7. My favorite dessert on RC! I literally make a cookie jar from 2 bowls and keep it stocked in my cabin at all times.
  8. I just got bored after a few nights. They really didn’t have a lot of entertainment scheduled and I just missed all the action and options on the big ladies.
  9. Just sailed Liberty a couple of weeks ago. No one checked our arrival time appointments. We were there at the right time but by the size of the crowd I don’t think everyone was.
  10. Here’s a picture of the deck 14 OS we had last fall on Oasis. You can kind of see the overhang. It really didn’t bother me and I’m a sun person. It was nice when it rained because we could still stay out there.
  11. Which ship? On Oasis I liked the OS 1000% better than the GS. The balcony was absolutely perfect in the OS. GS balcony was cramped and seemed like an after thought. The space is the OS is much more open and spacious. I felt like I was at home. And the bathroom layout is bigger but both need updating on Oasis. For that difference I’d definitely go OS. Just saw you said Indy so not sure about that ship.
  12. I had already bought the refreshment and mentioned that to the agent but I didn’t get the feeling that she checked that information to be true.
  13. You can call to purchase a single drink package so all in one cabin won’t need it. I did that.
  14. I don’t see South Beach beds listed at all on my planner. Just Chill and Breezy. Are the day beds gone from South Beach?
  15. So idk why RC calls it and advertises it as a suite lounge. If I’m paying over $600pd pp to stay in a suite that included special areas I’m not expecting to be crowded out by at least 50 people who aren’t even staying in suites. RC needs to get their act together if they expect people to be happy with their Suite experience. Loyalty perks shouldn’t cross into the Suite experience IMO.
  16. Yea that’s not right. On lobster night we had to wait just to get a seat in the lounge to wait for our dinner reservation that ended up being an hour late. I don’t think CK or the suite lounge should be used as a loyalty perk. Especially now with the increased pricing it’s going to rub people the wrong way.
  17. CK on our last Oasis cruise was packed because of Pinnacles. I think they should go back to having their own lounge and leave CK just for suites. Using it as a loyalty perk as well as the suite lounge dilutes the perk for both groups.
  18. Personally I think it’s a good change. It will stop those that book the suites as soon as the itinerary comes out hoping the price will go down and when it doesn’t cancel before final payment. This drives up the price for the remaining suites as the inventory is low. Hopefully this deters some of that.
  19. On Oasis there’s a dedicated suite sun deck but you’re still not guaranteed a lounger. The early bird gets the worm when it comes to loungers especially in optimal areas on ships and resorts.
  20. I’ve been on Oasis 3 times and have only done mega ships for that last few years until a recent Liberty sailing and I gotta say after the mega ships I felt Liberty to be lacking. There’s just so much more going on at any time on the big ships. Last time on Oasis we had an OS on deck 14. You could definitely hear the noise from that deck in the cabin but it was just noise during the day. One night they did have a deck party but it was over by 11pm. I’d say if you don’t sleep past 10am and don’t nap in your cabin during the day, deck 14 noise isn’t an issue. They never cleaned the decks in the middle of the night.
