  1. The GS will get you all of the suite benefits whereas the JR suite just allows you dinner if there’s availability in Coastal Kitchen. GS will have unlimited access to Coastal Kitchen, access to the suite sun deck, access to suite seating in shows and the use of the concierge. I’m sure I’m probably missing something but you can look up the suite benefits.
  2. Is this for all ships or is there a ship specific one for Liberty? Thanks.
  3. I don’t think so for oceanview balcony cabins and above. The prices have doubled and sometimes tripled from what they used to be. Add to that the increased pricing on internet, drink packages etc. cruising has become an expensive vacation option for us. We’re booked in May but have cruised every year in the fall and haven’t booked anything yet. I can’t get over paying that much more for the same product. BTW my youngest is at CofC and I’ve absolutely fallen in love with your beautiful city!
  4. Spring water is just that, water from a spring. Purified water is just tap water they’ve filtered.
  5. PH level in water is irrelevant because once it goes through your stomach acid it all becomes the same. The new alkaline water is a scam.
  6. It’s probably one of the worst offers I’ve seen with Amex/Royal so you’re not missing too much.
  7. They only allow one offer per account now.
  8. I have it on my Everyday card but I’ve gotten much better offers in the past. This is like $150 off $1000. I’ve had $150 off $500 before. It’s still free money but like everything else these days we’re getting less.
  9. I always get a clean towel on my way back to my cabin at the end of the day so I’m prepared the next day.
  10. Carnival has been doing that inconsistently for years and years. I’ve seen it done at the beach pool on Oasis but before the shut down. They didn’t use post it’s they just had a crew member there all morning monitoring chairs. If you want a chair by the pool simply get up early in the morning and get one. Usually by 8-9am is good. Then don’t leave for more than thirty minutes until you’re done with it. It’s really not that hard.
  11. On my last time on Oasis I overheard a woman in the Suite Lounge complaining to the concierge and demanding to speak to whoever was in charge of the waiters in Coastal Kitchen because I server told her she couldn’t have macaroni and cheese at lunch, which wasn’t on the menu😳 It took all me self control to not tell her to get a life!😂
  12. 😂 definitely! Once I didn’t see them out in Windjammer so I asked the crew member behind the counter and he went in the back and came back with a bowl full for me. An empty bowl upside down on top makes a great temporary cookie jar😜
  13. They definitely are! I kept a bowl of them in my suite at all times😂 They’re labeled coconut cookies. They also sometimes had mud slide cookies and those were really good too.
  14. I am just off the Oasis 2 weeks ago and I can assure you there was a health screening on the app as part of the 3 sections of the check in process. Not mine below but an example.
  15. Just for the future the new health screening is done on the app up to 24hrs before embarkation.
  16. I’m sorry for your situation. Couldn’t you wait until it was time to fill out the health screening and answer that she’s got the symptoms she has? Put the ball in their court and let them refuse her boarding? Then get the refund?
  17. We heard it both inside the cabin and of course on the balcony. The sound is pretty muffled so it’s not like a sound that would wake you up from a sound sleep but it could make falling asleep hard. We don’t sleep during the day so it didn’t bother us at all.
  18. Omg that happened to me to after the Brazilian restaurant on NCL! I didn’t even know that was a thing and didn’t even think I ate that much. I’ll never do that again!
  19. First I want to say I’m glad you’re happy with your upgrade. I am though wondering if we’re looking at the pricing of these Royal Up bids right? I’d think to see if you got a good deal you’d have to compare the cost of the category on the day you purchased your cruise and not on the cost of the category right before sailing because that’s usually a very inflated price. I know when I book a balcony or a spacious ocean view balcony for a 7 day September/October cruise 10-12 months out I usually pay around $1500-$1800. I’d be interested in someone noting the category prices when they book and then the cost with the Royal Up bid.
  20. I was just on 14 on Oasis. You can definitely hear heavy walkers, chair dragging and music from above in the cabin. It’s a muffled sound. We didn’t really spend time in the cabin during the day so it didn’t bother us. At night and in the morning it was quiet except one night we could hear the pool party music until 11:15pm. I’d think he’d be better off under the mini golf than the living room for night noise. We do 14 again because it had other advantages like proximity to our daytime activities and the balcony had an extra large over hang so you could sit out there in the rain.
  21. They do but I’m very scared to go into the city right now. I’m so sick of politics! That’s one of the worst byproducts of the pandemic. Everyone was home picked teams and became political. It’s draining.
