That +5 cabin also connects to the cabin next door. I’d try to find one without the connecting door so you’re not stressing as much about the noise of the kids traveling into the neighboring cabin.

I’m too picky about location to bid on any category that I’m not totally in love with that’s also in my price range. That said I would only do a RU for an OS on Oasis class. You could get a connector one or one on 14 which I wouldn’t be totally happy with but the suite would help me get over that. Any other suite wouldn’t be worth the risk for me. And I’ve been in an OS on 14 and you hear much more than just chairs. Thankfully it’s usually just during the day.

I watch my sugar in take and found nothing low sugar on board besides diet soda or diet energy drink maybe ice tea. I think Quantum class has smoothies at the Solarium bar but they are not the fresh fruit type land smoothies you’d think of. They are made from pre mixed carton stuff that is not low sugar. I bring along a baggie filled with different flavored sugar free water mix ins along with a refillable cup. I even added a shot of vodka to make sugar free drinks. Margaritaville brand makes a really good sugar free pina colada mix in that I find at the dollar tree.

My final payment date is 7/10 and I’m not paid in full and haven’t received an email reminder. I’ve got my own reminders to pay 7/9.

It definitely is but it’s just as annoying that RC doesn’t train their employees to call for security to deal with these rule breakers. I understand the lifeguards, the clean up staff or the drink servers not wanting to confront them and definitely it’s not the other guests responsibility to do it so train them to simply call security and let them deal with it. It wasn’t a one time occurrence either. It was everyday.

We had the same issue on Liberty. The 20 something groups blasting music on their speakers above the piped in music in the hot tubs of the solarium and young kids throughout the seating areas of the solarium. I blame management for not policing the area and enforcing rules.

That’s not good. Have you done a mock booking to see if your cabin is back in available inventory? If it is I’d put it on hold so when you call tomorrow to plead your case you’ll at least have a cabin in your category they can put you back into if they agree to reinstate your reservation.

Did you sign into the website and see if your cruise is still there? If it’s there they haven’t canceled it and you should be able to make final payment on line.

The cabin is spacious but the bathroom is very dated and the balcony is super cramped. The OS is so much nicer. The bathroom is still dated but much bigger and the balcony is perfect! If it’s possible I’d definitely go with the OS. I wouldn’t pay the price for the GS. Just my opinion.

Go to the pool before 9am and you’ll find one😎

The Liberty does have the steam and sauna in the locker rooms. The men’s steam was broken in May. Hopefully they fixed it.

I completely agree. You’ll all be tired and a moving ship makes for some great sleep! Just go with your sheets and wear the little one out before going back to the cabin. All will be fine😊

This is not true. Sailings from NJ are filled with people from Canada to NC and everywhere in between. Truthfully there’s never a cruise anymore that doesn’t have a ton of kids. People take their kids out of school without a thought anymore and there’s a lot doing homeschooling.

I agree with the lack of choices in the Windjammer on Oasis. I was glad to see that it wasn’t the same on Liberty. What really disappointed me was the breakfast and lunch changes in the Solarium Bistro. There was practically no choices there for either meal and it was almost like they combined the 2 meals and just served the same things for both. I tried to go a couple of times and left without eating every time. Have you gone there for either breakfast or lunch?

The deluxe beverage package does still include the cup that works at the soda machines. I’m not sure about the Starbucks gift cards but they can use their deluxe beverage package to get specialty coffees at other venues, just not the Starbucks store.

Same thing for my Oct Oasis cruise but I happened to look for the South Beach bed on the app and it was listed there but not in the cruise planner so I purchased it on the app and then it started showing up in the cruise planner

I’d suggest you call and hopefully you get a helpful agent that will allow you to move the booking and maybe just charge you the $100pp change fee. In the past I was able to move a booking and the agent even waived the change fee. Good luck and hoping for a speedy recovery for your Mom.
