  1. No, not according to the small print. A guest entertainer is not the same as a production show. "PCL will reserve a group of seats for Princess Premier guests for “production show” presentations (Broadway-style shows with singers and dancers) during the voyage;"
  2. Yes, for the production shows, but not for anything else.
  3. I don't think you will have a problem getting a taxi (or Uber) on the day. The majority of passengers will have driven to the port, or will be on coaches. Those using taxis will just be using them for short local runs, so there will be a constant flow of taxis coming and going. Which day are you disembarking - it us quite unusual to have six ships in port on the same day. As an aside, I'm not sure which airline you are using, but I assume you know that Flybe have gone out of business.
  4. Thanks for the update. I doubt it was 20:15 somehow. I know it's a broad generalisation, but from my working and travelling in the US, early dining seems to be the norm.
  5. No change at all in Frinton, apart from the "gates" going, and a pub and a fish and chip shop opening !
  6. Just a thought - have you considered Princess ? Their dress code is rather more relaxed than P&O.
  7. No shorts for adults anywhere after 6pm. Smart jeans are ok in the MDR on non-formal nights.
  8. At what time were the photos taken? I know there are issues when the MDR first opens, as so many Americans dine so early, but I have not read about many issues later in the evening, around 20:00 when Europeans eat.
  9. There is a limit to how many children are allowed on board, and it may well be that you are too late to book for this summer. Can I suggest you check availability asap.
  10. I'm not sure that being a large company necessarily makes it efficient. Normally the reverse is the case !
  11. Why worry about the colour of the Medallion ? It works exactly the same way, regardless.
  12. Just seems wrong to make an assertation with no evidence to support it.
  13. I agree, in that the likes of Barcelona, Athens etc will happily accept ships of all sizes. But how many will follow Palma and Venice - Malaga, Cartagena, Marseilles etc spring to mind.
  14. John - can you provide evidence that this happens on Princess ?
  15. But "shrinkflation" does not contravene any rules.
  16. You were a bit unlucky with your timing. If you had booked a few months earlier you would have avoided the supplement.
  17. But by then, will there be any ports prepared to accept ships of that size ?
  18. You can replicate the same system when you have a bath, so I'm told !
  19. No real need, as you can take your own cases to the "hole in the wall". No porterage involved.
  20. We booked our flights from BHX with no supplement, as part of a P&O promotion.
  21. All the "exits" are pre-recorded at the start of the filming, hence the clothing.
  22. Full of over priced bars and restaurants, and shops selling tourist tat. Plus the pick pockets of course. There are far better places to visit than Las Ramblas.
  23. I suppose that's one way of looking at it ! Thanks anyway.
  24. Absolutely - the place was dead (sic) apart from cruisers trying to get a beer ! We had a reasonable day out, and every time we watch DiP it's nice to think that we have actually been there, but it was a bit of a let down seeing it in the flesh!
