I’m already planning on taking 1 VV and 1 RC cruise in the near future. If royal is requiring pre cruise testing and Virgin isn’t, I’ll just make it two virgin cruises
Yes I am, at least as much as I am with every other thing they could come onboard with. For years nobody batted an eye at the health questionnaire being sufficient. I’m vaccinated, boosted, I’ve had covid, and I’m in good health.
Its still cheating lol just because you were bored doesn't make it okay to cut ahead of everybody who's adhering to the time they're supposed to arrive
My experience in Fort Lauderdale is that its a free for all. They had signs for check in times but nobody was actually checking and they were letting anybody in who was there
A history of motion sickness is an indicator that you’re also prone to ponv so it sounds like the scop patch (or the other iv antiemetics that we give) did the trick
I’m an anesthetist and we use scopolamine patches (the patch you’re talking about) on patients with severe postoperative nausea and vomiting. They work but for some the side effects are significant (drowsiness, dry mouth, dilated pupils if you touch it then touch your eyes). They can also cause confusion in the elderly. I’d say the majority of people do fine with them but it wouldn’t hurt to do a test run
I never said anything about removing the auto gratuities, I was only responding to the person that said it would be impossible for royal to include gratuities in the cruise fare unless every other line did the same thing
There's about a billion hotels in south beach, all price ranges, and easily walkable to tons of restaurants and shopping. Your next best bet would be to find a hotel in Brickell imo but I'd rather stay in south beach
Yeah i guess they could just advertise free cruises and just charge you an electricity bill, water bill, gas bill, and have cover charges at the buffet and mdr 🙄
Meh I prefer royal as a cruise line but their website truly is garbage. The fact that I have to call just to see what I paid for the cruise is enough to justify that
I’m pretty sure you understood what I meant — pay them a wage that doesn’t require passengers to subsidize it with tips and don’t allow them to accept tips like the two companies that I mentioned
The spas, like the casinos and art auctions, aren't run by Royal and that's probably part of the reason it is how it is. Its been like that since before covid and a big reason why we rarely go to the spa for anything besides the gym
