    That''s nice for Royal that you're a firm believer in that but for the rest of us the policy gives confidence to book at a good but not great price because there's always the ability to get to price adjusted if it goes down before the final payment

    I know when they ended the Cruise with Confidence program that you can’t get OBC or upgrades after final payment, but can you still call and reprice before that?

    100% depends where you go in those cities. I spend a lot of time in Miami and the only places where drinks are regularly over $20 are clubs and tourist traps

    In all fairness yes you’ve seen them but it’s hard to actually experience most of those places during a 6-12 hour stop in a port. I love cruising but that’s the main reason once I finished grad school and had a lot more disposable income I started taking more land vacations because even though it’s fun I don’t feel like I’m really getting to see and experience these places

    as far as I know RC only has rules about bringing back alcohol from a port of call, not soda

    I don’t understand why OP is owed an explanation? They made a mistake saying they got the RoyalUp then immediately corrected it if I’m understanding correctly. I don’t know what anybody thinks speaking to a supervisor is going to accomplish besides a “yeah sorry about that”

    Don’t really care about unvaccinated rules as that’s an easy problem to fix but hopefully they do away with testing completely

    thanks, that’s pretty helpful. The deck plans I looked at were the ones in the app which doesn’t show individual rooms. Would also explain why I couldn’t tell a difference in pictures because it’s hard to guage depth

    Going on Independence next week, did a RoyalUp bid for a regular balcony and ended up getting a Spacious Ocean View Balcony. Tried to find pics or videos online but I can’t tell anything different about them. Are they actually bigger? Not complaining since I still got what I bid on (with the minimum bid 😎) but I’m just curious
