  1. Mine is working fine. Which version are you using?
  2. Is the following available?....(Grand Cayman) AMAZING TURTLE & WILDLIFE ENCOUNTER Code:GCA63 We did this one and enjoyed it. At the time, my youngest was about 5.
  3. Here's 9164... The others should be pretty much the same.
  4. Making changes with MSC isn't as simple as it is with other lines. Things can get messed up. You might lose your deposit, your stateroom, your rate, or even your entire cruise. My advice is to decide what you want to book before making an official booking. Promos do change so don't wait too long. After that, save copies of every PDF that MSC sends to you including the first confirmation PDF after making a deposit. If you decide to make a change over the phone, do not hang up until whatever change that you made is correct AND you have a confirmation PDF sent to your email. My longest phone call with MSC is over 90 minutes long but everything was eventually corrected. Other forum members haven't been so lucky. 😔
  5. With MSC, flexible dining times can vary depending on which "experience" is booked. The least expensive option (Bella) has set dining time and set dining location for dinner. The higher/more expensive options (Aurea and Yacht Club) have "freestyle" dining as far as times the same way that NCL does. In that case, I would recommend MSC Yacht Club on one of the newer ships such as Sea**** (there are 4 of them). It's most similar to NCL Haven but is almost always less expensive. Drinks package and Wi-Fi package are included with Yacht Club at no additional cost so you can select the least expensive pricing option and still get them. Aurea experience is also a good option. There's a dedicated restaurant and dedicated sundeck with the newer ships. MSC is sailing out of Port Canaveral which is less than an hour drive from Universal Studios. MSC's off-ship customer service isn't exactly.....stellar. You're much better off having your questions answered here on CC. Before doing anything with MSC customer service, check here (or the MSC forum) for the best course of action.
  6. ...which will lead to not so simple replies... The DSC is not mandatory. You can do that with or without paying the DSC. You would need to go to Guest Services and have the amount adjusted. True, but my suspicion is that tipping more is the antithesis of these types of threads.
  7. Once inside of the Haven complex, there is an elevator for decks 17, 18, and 19. From your stateroom, you will take the public elevator to deck 17 then enter the complex.
  8. With that deck, the main negatives are the forward view from the bedroom (you'll mostly see the bow of the ship and the crew area) and the walk to the elevators. You'll probably still enjoy the suite, though.
  9. Unfortunately, it's important for my World America cruise. I booked a Duplex instead of a Royal or Owner's. The balcony on those 4 suites wasn't appealing to me. At least with the Duplex, the upper balcony is more open instead of the more enclosed balcony of the Royal Suite. With that being the case, I won't have a pergola reserved for us. If they are 1st come/1st serve, I'll have fewer available pergolas to fight for.
  10. Looking at the World Europa photos that I have seen, there are signs designating that certain suites (such as 16010) have a pergola reserved. I don't know the total number of pergolas on the deck, though.
  11. Which ship and deck? There are some staterooms that are less desirable than others.
  12. Sugar daddy....or sugar mommy, whichever is your preference. 🤑
  13. There is no pullman in the living room. One of the sofas open up into a bed. If you like to nap, you can sleep in the bed in the bedroom. You can keep the doors closed and sleep without anyone in the living room knowing that you are there. There's no reason to keep the sofa bed open during the day.
  14. With practice, you will adjust and feel more comfortable with the concept of "both". 😉
  15. In my experience, Punta Langosta is where MSC docks.
  16. After drydock, Joy will also have a 3BR in the Haven.
  17. I stayed on deck 15 forward (15008) and didn't hear a thing.
  18. If guest #2 is under 21, that guest would get the soda package. The PBP also includes non-alcoholic drinks (virgin coladas, virgin daiquiris, etc.) as well as soda (from the bartender's gun). You can have as many of those per day as you would like. Looking at the difference in price between what you originally had and the price after you removed the PBP, you might be better off keeping the package vs. paying a la carte for non-alcoholic drinks and sodas.
  19. It all depends on what gets caught. If someone brings a 6 pack buried under their socks in a suitcase, it might or might not get through. Absolutely. There is a pile of confiscated drinks in many terminals.
  20. How much faith do you have that MSC's onboard inventory will be updated immediately after you cancel? Will it be immediate?....within the hour?...within 12 hours?....up to 24 hours?....on the following cruise?.... How long will it take for your initial deposit to be refunded? Will it be immediate?...within a week?...within a month?...two billing cycles?...never?... If you book now, you have nothing to lose. It the plan works, you gain a few bucks OBC, some points, etc. If it doesn't work, you got the last available stateroom that you want.
  21. Not according to this...... 10. If I have two reservations can I bid only once and if accepted, cancel the second reservation and move the guests into the upgraded cabin? No, if you have two cabins you will need to submit two separate bids and they will be considered independently. NCL cannot guarantee that both reservations will be upgraded. In the case that one of the reservations gets upgraded, you cannot move the other guests into the upgraded cabin. All reservations cancelled within the penalty period will be subject to cancellation fees.
  22. Most of the points have already been covered.... Passport Travel Insurance Scooter rental in a foreign country Credit card with an ample amount available ... but at what point do we stop tolerating the use of the term "young people" in these cases? If someone is old enough to travel to foreign countries without a parent or guardian, that person is old enough to understand the importance of every topic brought up in this thread. At the very least, this story should act as a warning to anyone who sees/hears about it.
