Our ports all got changed last September because of an approaching storm.....for the better!! We were happy campers!! I mean cruisers!!

Carnival did cruise to St. Croix years ago. I heard they stopped for security reasons. We stopped there, along with San Juan, and St. John's, in 2000 on Triumph out of Miami on our first ever cruise.

If you're man, put it in your pocket...if you're a woman...how do you carry a comb, lipstick, tissues? Bring a teeny purse....something small, for your "stuff"...and put your card in that. You're not at a convention...you don't need your cabin key around your neck!

After being REQUIRED (it's a security issue) to have work ID showing at all times while on the job, it doesn't bother me to wear my SandS card on a lanyard at all times.

If the ship has a sports bar, probably will be on in there. Beware, seating is very limited. Maybe 40 chairs.

IF customs processes the ship quickly to start debarkation on time. IF you have no trouble getting thru customs. IF the ship arrives at its normal time. IF nothing slows the ship on its normal 8 hour trip up the river. IF there is an Uber nearby. If all goes well, then you should maybe be ok. Why stress about it? Later sounds better IMHO.

My husband also was not impressed, but he's biased. He is a manager for a burger joint, so he hates burgers as a whole since he's around them all the time. So he's not a good judge. I loved the burgers. I think #1, I've been on a diet since Jan 1, lost 31 pounds before the cruise, and so this was my first burger in 5 months! and #2....those fries....oh, the fries. Delicious. Again, no fries in 5 months either, so it could be that I had gone so long without that the grease tasted terrific!

We might eat burgers 3 or 4 times a year, one of those is grilled at home, and the others are 5 Guys.

No worries, nobody else will probably even catch it. I just did because well, I like Five Guys and just had it for dinner last night so it stood out to me. =)

I saw it, and was gonna let her slide. Love 5 Guys! Had Guy's Burgers on our last cruise. Not impressed.

I've never heard it, and the crew sleep lower down than passengers, and I've spent a few thousand days on cruise ships. A stabilizer makes no more noise than your hand when you trail it under the water as you are paddled along in a canoe.

Correct. The stabilizer itself makes no noise. However, the actuator that extends and retracts the stab will make noise, whether it's electric or hydraulic.

Boarding time always depends on when debarkation is completed, which is determined by Customs/Coast Guard giving the OK to start debarkation.

No 2 cruises are exactly the same.

Quantity of FTTFs allowed is generally determined by quantity of Diamond and Platnum cruisers booked. Carnival can only handle so many priority people at one time, can only handle so many cabins to get priority cleaning and prepping. Not everyone can be first. Someone has to be last.

If you think you will sleep well, or think you will have terrible time sleeping, you're probably correct.

Call Carnival, ask to speak to supervisor of customer relations.

Carnival gift cards on AARP or Verizon are run by the same company, and posted. at same time. They usually only last about 1 or 2 hours before being sold out until next posting.

How miserable do you have to be to worry about children around a swimming pool. Were I a parent and I came across pools forbidden to my children I'd be furious. I wish there were cruises with pool areas which were closed to sad and whinging adults.

I imagine you are also furious that your imaginary children are not allowed to purchase and consume ADULT beverages, enter ADULT clubs, obtain a drivers license like other ADULTS?

New Orleans to Memphis is a 400 mile drive. Not exactly day trip material.

We did deck 9 about 4 doors from very front. Never felt a thing.

2300+ high schools and 171 universities in Florida. Spring break is quite varied.
