    After having spa passes for my past 6 cruises I have reached the opinion that they are not worth what you pay for them. It takes a lot of time in the spa to justify the cost and on a port intensive cruise like Alaska, it is hard to find the time.

    That is the old menu. Tomahawk is no longer offered, along with some other minor differences.

    The week prior the rooms were ready around 3. I feel like this is going to be the new normal because of the change to once a day room cleaning with fewer stewards, it simply takes them longer to get the rooms ready.

    Good luck, but don’t expect anything to be different unless you are on a luxury line.

    Use the web site and not the app. You will be amazed at the world of wonders that open up.

    Here are two that help. Don’t eat at the buffet except when there is no other option. Don’t try to sit near the pool go to a higher deck.

    20% is more than generous considering they are also getting $100 pp.

    I would not pay any extra for the specialty restaurants other than the FAS service charge. Certainly not worth it.

    Are you really considering taking that good camera with your telephoto lens to the beach around all that sand. If you are they you are going on a picture safari, and not a trip to the beach where you will do any beach activities.

    Don’t think you will find pricing better on any other mass market line, especially for excursions, casino, spa services, restaurants or drinks. If that is your criteria you need to explore land based vacations.

    You do not get access to the thermal suite when you use other spa services. Daily passes are rarely offered, in fact I’ve never seen them offered, but if they are it would be for port days.

    Not even close to tight. You will have plenty of time to make that flight as long as you are off the ship by 9:15.

    Never in 9 cruises found anyone to write about. What’s changed?

    The food on board the ship has never been better than mid level chain restaurant quality even in the specialty restaurants. Not sure where you get the idea the the MDR food is worse than it was. I haven't noticed a change in quality in 15 years, it's always been mediocre.

    It should be no problem just make sure that you know the time for all aboard.
