Butler-Letter: A Butler is a better room steward not more on MSC. When you want really have a real butler you have to cruise with a real luxury brand cruise line, not a mass mark cruise line. When I am a butler i were shocked about a letter like that, for me that is too much. When all guests want things like that, that is not working for the butler on a MSC Ship. We always have good butlers, otherwise we speak with them and all our YC cruises were good - very good. We speak with the crew and the officers and so it always goes well.

You will be diamond after the cruise. The points at the begin of the cruise counts. So you are diamond on the next cruise. My kids had 9900 point at the begin of a 12 day cruise, but they become diamond after the cruise.

Your Butler-Letter ist real? You know your Butler in the YC had to serve 10-12 cabins and can't read Letters from all guests. It's easier to speak with the butler and say what you wan't. And the YC isn't a 6 Star Hotel like in Dubai or so, MSC is a mass-market-cruise-line, and the YC perhaps a 4 star superior product not more. And for the kids club, at MSC ships are a lot of european people with kids and teens, they all speak englisch but also in the mother language like spanish, Italien, french or german. Yes normally there are a lot of teens they like to dress up and to improve to others, but this is normal in this age but perhaps not for a child in the spectrum.

We traveled with CroisiEurope in France and Germany before Covid. We are a Swiss family and we speak French, so no problem for us. It's really a french company and the language is French and the food also. We like french food and stinky cheese and we like the cruise with CroisiEurope. But if you don' t speak french, I don't cruise with them, the biggest part of the quests are French or people they speak French.

I newer take the Shuttle in Hamburg Main Station to Steinwerder. With a taxi für 30 Euro it is much easier than with the bus. I finde the Shuttle from HAM to Kiel very good.

Yes we were in YC and the Butler has tokens for the guests. For the other categories i dont know how it works, sorry.

Its after 10 am in front of the airport. There are MSC People inside the airport to assist you.

No, there is an extra kitchen for the YC Restaurant in all Ships with YC from MSC. The Menu are not the same as in the MDR.

But the price is often the same like for two persons.... It was like that before COVID. During COVID there were very good solo Prices. And since this year, there are no more really Solo-Prices, not for Bella or YC! So you have to pay from 180 - 200% the price!

Ist depends on the arrivaltime of the ship. Normally YC begin at 9 or 10 when the Ship arrives at 7. Yes breakfest is clear on the last day and also lunch is on problem, ask your Butler or the Concierge.

In the US it's less formal than in Europe, also in the YC. Long Trousers and a Polo are fine in the US, in Europe they wear often a tie and more formal wear. We like to dress up, so for me the european MSC Cruises are more formal as the US Sailing.

On wich Ship? In Europe it's normally not like that perhaps in den US and UK? But in the med an Northern Europe there is no bottled water free in cabins not in the YC.

Yes, on the World Europa there are stairs and a YC lift to all facilities of the YC. For me the YC of the World Europa is too big and there are not enough public spaces.

Yes, you have to use the Card. You can register a Child for the Fun Pass, thats not a Problem!

Con te partiro or time to say goodby is the official song from MSC for sailaway. But last year and also on the Meraviglia in April it wasn't played.

The F1 ist not easy to drive. Our Teenie was very good with the F1 on the World Europa, but on the Meraviglia it was an other type of Simulator and it was much harder to drive. He used his hole Funpass for the Simulator and on the last day he wins the F1 Competition on board, but it was not easy to drive. He is also bigger than 6 ft but really thin, so no problem for him. The seat ist not large.

F1 was 13 Dollar per game, but it's really hard to drive the F1 Car on the Meraviglia. On the World Europa it was much easier, it was another type of simulator-Car. Then 30 Dollar per 30 Min Bowling oder 50 per one hour Bowling. On the Meraviglia, the Flight Simulator, the second F1 Car were broken.

Last year there were some Minutes-Internet Plans on the QM2, a 2 hour Internet-Plan or so. Is this no more aviable? I don't want to serve the hole day, only check my mails once per day during the crossing. In the USA, UK and Germany I have my mobile internet Plan so, no need of wifi from the Ship. I am Gold and so I have a 2 hour internet Package for free.

yes we are cruising on the World Europa in December/January in the Arabian Gulf. It was the second Cruise of the Ship and not really well organized. We traveled in the Yacht Club, and have long waits for Dinner and for Lunch on the Pool Deck. There was not enough Staff for the hole Ship. The Layout of the Ship is good, we like the inside and outside Promenade on Deck 6 with the Fast Food an Pizza Restaurant inside. The Slides and the Entertainment was good. But the YC is bad, the restaurant, the Pool Deck and den TSL are too small. It was our worst cruise ever... we don't want do cruise with this Ship in the future.

I like Dornier 328 planes! On our small local airport here they use always Dornier's 328, but all airlines here were insolvent at the end, so it was not a good business model.... My favorite airport in London ist London City, but from Southampton to far and there are only small planes for european flights. Its much better organized than Heathrow oder Gatwick in my opinion. When you fly with BA or an other Airline from Heathrow Terminal 5, plan enough time for check in and security! Last time it tooks 3 hours for a European flight! The Transfer with Cunard is good organized and the departure time depends of your flight time. I always fly back home on the same day and had a transfer with Cunard.

@ocdb8r On your sailing the YC wasn't full, so when the YC is full the restaurant and the galley are to small for the amount of guests. Yes there was not enough personal on the cruise, but its the problem of MSC, we have paid for the cruise and the service, so they have to solve such problems and not the pax have to suffer. And yeas speakeasy was the best Bar I ever was on a cruise ship! That was a great experience!
