@ocdb8r On your sailing the YC wasn't full, so when the YC is full the restaurant and the galley are to small for the amount of guests. Yes there was not enough personal on the cruise, but its the problem of MSC, we have paid for the cruise and the service, so they have to solve such problems and not the pax have to suffer. And yeas speakeasy was the best Bar I ever was on a cruise ship! That was a great experience!

We also used Uber and don't have any problems to get a car within 10 minutes. We used the app in front of the terminal and not inside. We are leaving the ship around 9.

Yes we are sailing in the Middle East, and the provision problems are an other theme. The pax mix was most european in the YC so no arabian people. The problem is that the YC is too big with too many cabins and the public areas are too small, the restaurant, the pool deck and so on. So this problem will stay the same also in the med. We like the Meravigliaclass ships and their YC, but not the new one.

About the YC on the MSC World Europa: The YC is too big and packed, the Restaurant is too small for the amount of guests in the YC, also the pool area and the pool deck Grill. We are cruising only in YC with MSC but the YC from the World Europa is the money not worth and this was the worst cruise ever with MSC. We don't want to cruise with this ship again. We don't had problems before the cruise, but on the cruise it was a mess with restaurant waiting times and lack of service.

No, Kids have to earn their own points. Perhaps a status match works? Never tried.

We were also disembarked yesterday and have to problems to get an Uber at the terminal. The mobile Signal was also first Edge, but then it was ok and very easy. Within 5 minutes we have an Uber XL. There are a lot of people that not unterstand the process with the numbers... we were YC and leave the ship around 9 after breakfast. The lines for cabs/taxis were very long and the had to wait for a long time.

Yes there is all material in the sportplex avilable to use.

Take the train to Milabo Centrale and then the train to Malpensa. Its not a problem and cheaper than the private Transfer. but there are always MSC Transfers to Malpensa, you have to book it with your cruise. Perhaps you can join a Transfer?

We are on board now and there is every morning a 2.5 h Pickleball time slot and also in the afternoon 1.5 h. So no problem to play! There are always some people to play there. Thats fun!

Yes here in Europe normally an hour or sometimes 30 Minutes. But with a hour you are safe.

No, for the Venom you don't pay, but you have to sign a waiver. On World Europa, there are the F1 Simulator, the 4D Cinema (I think, I never was), the arcade games and the Autoscooter.

It's not totally different from other cruises. MSC is a european cruise line, not american like Norwegian oder X. We like MSC but also Princess or Carnival. But with MSC to have a good experience we always sail in the YC, the other experiences are not good in my opinion.

@JamieLogical Is this your first MSC Cruise? You don't need do upload a foto before boarding. They will take a new foto on board, also if you are uploaded one before. The app is for use on board, and times for excursions are clear the day before. Sometimes are more than one departure time. Status match is only once, that's not normal that yo can match twice per person. Until you are diamond there are no really good perks with MSC.

Yes the hole cabin can use the fun pass. normally I have one oder two fun passes for a cruise and the hole family share the credit. My teens love the fun pass for the F1 Simulator, the arcade games and on the world europa for the scooters. On our April Meraviglia cruise the will use the F1 Simulator a lot or the arcade games on the sea days. For this 11 day cruise we have to fun passes.

But most oft the day the sportplex was empty on the Grandiosa and Meraviglia. On Grandiosa and also on Meraviglia in 2017 they are playing some times Tennis. The older MSC Ships have all a tennis court.

I was on the Preziosa in Fall 2021. YC is like before covid, but no more reserved seats in the theater (is also not necessary I think). Food, TSL and so are the same as before. The buffet I don't use normally, only the YC. Butchers Cut was good.

I don't know if the doors/walls are magnetic. But in Europe no one decorate doors on a cruise ship. I saw this only in the US/Caribian and on US Ships, but not on MSC.

The last time, 2017 there was sometimes tennis in the sportlex, there is a net, but I don't know it there are also rackets and balls. @mscdivina2016have you requested for rackets and balls? Or why do yo know that? @Tierun Yes, I know that, but sometimes they are playing tennis on your last Meraviglia cruise.

On the Meraviglia there ist the Sportplex. Can wie play Tennis and rent Rackets and Balls? Our Kids love Tennis and we travel from Europe to Florida, but don't like to pack Rackets and Balls.

The MSC Meraviglia on april 20 will arrive at Red Hook I think, not in Manhatten. We are on that 11 day sailing from Port Canaveral to NY. Later in the year I will do a QM2 Crossing from NY to Hamburg, and I think it will be also from Red Hook, Brooklyn.

No, 2 devices for all guests of the cabin, kids included. We are 4 and can use 8 devices.

Yes it was a bus and its a one hour drive to Kiel. There are a lot of people using the MSC service.

I booked the Transfer from HAM Airport to the ship in Kiel at my TA and used it twice. Its Reallohn comfortable to go to the ship direct from the Airport and took one hour.
