  1. https://www.oceaniacruises.com/legal/promotion-terms/ Guests are required to notify Reservations when requesting the FREE CRUISE. The awarded FREE CRUISE must be taken on the guest’s milestone cruise and is Cruise-Only, based on double occupancy, subject to availability at the time of booking, is not combinable with public promotions, excludes government taxes and fees and cannot exceed 14 days in length. The FREE CRUISE must be approved and will be placed as a guarantee until stateroom category has been assigned, upon authorization from the Oceania Club. The FREE CRUISE cannot be applied to any of the Around the World Voyages. For cruises over 14 days in length, the cruise cost will be prorated for the additional days. Stateroom category will reflect the accommodations most closely matching the typical category selected by the guests on prior voyages. Reservations for the FREE CRUISE may only be made 180 days or more prior to sail date. Other restrictions may apply.
  2. I think it is based on the average cat you normally sail in if you have sailed in A cabins for the most part that is what your free cruise will be in In the early years I think anyone that made it to 20 credit got a PH or top suite then too many were getting to the free cruise level so they changed it it is probably in the fine print on their web site
  3. Yes for a fee of course check on the website under the cruise you are looking at it should say under the tab " Hotels & Land"" You can do the math & see if doing it yourself would work out cheaper or not
  4. Not all females wear those types of clothing YMMV
  5. We used similar ones for years on road trips & then on cruises where no self serve laundry was available They work fine even washed DH Tilley zip offs in the sink with them
  6. You are still getting points based of the number of cruises & days cruises Take 2 cruises of 24 day days you get 2 Credits Take 4 cruises of 7 days you get 4 credits Take 1 cruise of 25 days you get 2 credits
  7. Or maybe by people who have actually had their clothing ruined by the ships laundry service 🙄
  8. You did But some here cannot or do not read they have their own agenda for the preferred line
  9. I use ones like this https://www.mec.ca/en/product/6003-733/trek%26-travel-pocket-laundry-soap?colour=NO_COLOUR Get them in the camping section of the local Canadian Tire store but you should find them in a camping store or online
  10. OOPS Meant THEIR not there I should not try to do 2 things at once LOL
  11. just book shorter cruises at different times Yes they probably have the "bean Counters" work out all the probabilities to cut people from getting a free cruise quicker 😉 They are in business to make money after all They still seem to have a good Loyalty benefits program though YMMV
  12. or jump on the ATW cruise for 15 credits 😉 )
  13. When you get onboard go to destinations services ask to be put on the wait list for the other class people cancel or change their minds
  14. well I guess not all people had that experience My GF came in 1890 at the age of 14 as a HOME CHILD with several hundred other children destined for farms in Canada not a lavish experience for them
  15. if people are not following the dress code set by O then speak to the Maitre'd it is there job to stop people at the entrance of of dining venues Or speak to the GM JMO

  18. I agree it depends on how the bookings are set up but as you say it will be 6 or 7 1st would be 1 credit 2nd would be 5 if they merge them 7 https://www.oceaniacruises.com/oceania-club-benefits
  19. We have only exchanged the Champagne for wine before unless we are sailing with friends who will help us drink the whole bottle 😉
  20. I would confirm that in writing They may book the ticket but if the flights are delayed or cancelled it is up to the airline to get you to your destination it may be the next day or a week later Make sure you buy trip cancellation/interuption insurance that covers that scenario Option would be to drive or bus to SEA then get the non stop to MCO you will collect you bag then get the flight the next day to SJU more complicated but your luggage will probably make it 😉
  21. We have done 32 days in an Ocean view & lived to tell the tale 😉 Just do not stay in the cabin all day ..get out & enjoy the ship or meet others to chat with JMO

  23. Are you boarding in Montreal or Quebec City? There is a train station a few blocks from the port I am guessing you are taking the Amtrak Adirondack route station is Montreal, Quebec Gare Centrale / Central StationTrain Station - 895 rue de la Gauchetiere ouest Montreal, QC H3B 4G1 About a 20 min walk or 10 min ride to the port in Montreal If you are leaving from Quebec city, Quebec that is another story
