  1. Same here, but then again I don't eat hamburgers on a cruise so that might explain why I missed the sign. I didn't see it in the buffet either at lunch.
  2. It is correct that Princess says - plastic bottles are not approved, but in four separate occasions in Ft Lauderdale this year I boarded with 6 one liter bottles in my suitcases and not a word was said. On one boarding I had only a suitcase with the bottles - nothing else. Security is not interested in plastic bottles. Princess only concern is that people might smuggle on liquor in them. Hence, the water in cans if you can find it.
  3. Not that I was specifically looking for sugar free but I don't recall seeing any.
  4. I believe their interest in setting up the collection table has diminished since their crew numbers have been strained thin, plus many people now sail with the Plus package and probably don't bring on wine as much as they used to.
  5. Seems strange that people who are paranoid about catching Covid would take such chances sailing on a cruise ship. We're also vaccinated & other than that we'll be taking our chances without the fear of the virus. If it happens, it happens. There are too many things lately to worry about than catching a cold.
  6. It looks fairly generic to me, but at least I didn't have to prepare it.
  7. I wonder if it was discontinued or like a lot of other things, just not available because of supply issues right now.
  8. Those statistics were quoted by BruceMuzz back in 2017. He was a representative for many cruise lines and sailed all over the world. I'm not sure if he's still working or not. He used to post frequently on this board.
  9. That's about the average for most people. They say it's not allowed but there isn't any real enforcement. we've always brought liquor back from all the different ports and never had it held although we have never displayer it openly.
  10. Interesting. I wonder if they're included as unlimited with the Plus package?
  11. Princess had the oldest cruisers back in 2015/2016 by a slight margin ... I don't know for sure about today but I suspect it still leads the pact among HAL, NCL, Norwegian, Carnival or MSC. We to sort of grew old sailing Princess not even considering HAL but maybe it's time to join the younger crown after all. As time goes by, I'm losing more & more of the perks that used to keep us so loyal, so what's to lose?
  12. They actually had such a thing? Sounds like it might be good in iced coffee.
  13. There's not many perks they can take away that will save them much more money. All the big ones are gone now. 😥
  14. Oh, they do work for recharging your phone but don't expect it to be any where's near as fast as the wall charger that came with your android phone. It 's useful for over night charging, but if you want a quick charge just before going to a show or dinner, you'll have to wait 2 hours or more. Bring your wall charger with an AC wall multi socket.
  15. If they did give people a heads up, they would defiantly have a hard time selling the cruise to many people. It's the last thing they need at this time... discouraging future cruisers.
  16. That's a perfect example why you should always have the first photo on your camera to display contact information. i.e.- Name, address, email, telephone number, etc.
  17. I believe you may be correct. Even a few yeas ago Princess was tied for the oldest demographic and today I'll bet is far in the lead. It's evident by some of their actions (i.e.- dress code, production shows, drink packages) that their trying to compete and change to attract a younger crowd but HAL from what I understand is still ahead of them. No one wants to be known as having the oldest cruisers at sea! That's not where a cruise line want's to be for future expansion.
  18. It's not surprising at all. I'll bet they had trouble selling those cabins to many people. No one want's to travel in a fish bowl.
  19. Simply because I want to continue to read/post to a thread and for some reason their system doesn't register that I've either posted to it or checked off that I'm following. If I enter a period or make another post, it will change.... sometimes. It doesn't happen all the time....just certain posts.
  20. That may very well be true if you eat at peak times, but if you eat very early or very late it doesn't make much difference in the service. All the waiters will slow down or speed up the service as you request.
  21. Hopefully those milestone perks will be the one thing that remains. They were really some nice gifts Princess presented.
