  1. It does not matter, as long as the website is correct, you’re good.
  2. Was that done recently? If so, it takes a few days to fall off the App, after a change or cancellation. Most important..,does it show correctly on the cruise personalizer? The cruise you cancelled…is it gone on the website? If the website is correct, then just leave it alone on the App. If it really bothers you, you can call in to OceanReady on the pcl phone line. When the App first was released, I had 2 of my cruises showing as 1 cruise and they were not! Not even the same ship. It corrected itself about 2 weeks later. SMH
  3. You received the lanyard and holder without the Medallion? That’s odd. Someone’s error. We always get the Medallion (including the lanyard & holder) about 11 days before sailing. You still have time!😂

  5. You are correct. Fortunately, I was able to use the old App and book my SD, at the correct USD rate. Now, the old App is gone. So, those who run into this issue on their bookings, will either have to report it to CS or IT, call in to PCL or just wait until OB to book. The only problem is the SD could actually increase in price, for real if you wait. I used to get responses from the IT department, which I shared on CC. But, now nothing from them. SMH

  7. When the new app came out, I saw the same prices shown as USD and this is for a ship that does sail OZ/NZ earlier in the year. We are going from the US to So America and they STILL have the wrong prices. They are in AUD, because IT can’t figure out how to change them. I’m not reporting it anymore. Try the web-site version of the App, see if it is correct. I went onto the old app and booked mine. Now that option is gone. FYI: Ship is Majestic 2024/25.

  10. We have cruised many times over Thanksgiving and yes there will be a turkey meal. This past holiday, the MDR meal was very good on the Sapphire, 32 night South Pacific. They scheduled it as a formal night. In the past, the food has been just okay on Thanksgiving. If you’re doing a short cruise, then you will have more kids OB over the break. Longer cruises… not so many kids on Thanksgiving break.

  13. Although, there was a video from a YT lady, which was a balcony on the Sun and she did pull out the retractable line in her video. Believe it was the original Sun thread.
  14. If you just upgraded today, sign out of the App and back in again. It may refresh later today or try again to book them tmrw. You can call in again and ask them to book it for you, if you get someone who knows how to do that.
  15. No, you just take them from the towel cart/desk. No checking out. Take however many you need. We sometimes take a couple for our balcony loungers/chairs. NP
  16. I understand your intention to get the attention of PCL. I really hope you have sent this to them directly and ask they compensate you for your losses. You could send it to customer relations and/or top level management. Then, of course, include those booking numbers.
  17. When you log in once OB, you can order delivery (OceanNow) and it’s at that point, you will have an opportunity to purchase OceanNow $14.99. I think if you use it on embarking, you may have a wait. Are you talking drinks or food? I would just stop at the venue that day, as RS will be swamped. A bar or lunch at the MDR, IC Or Alfredo’s if the ship has one. JMO Disembarkation? Also a very hectic day for RS. Never tried it on disembarkation.
  18. What a nightmare! No excuse for cancelling so close to departure, especially the 2nd cruise. No excuse for the EZAir flight protection and twice? I thought the cancellation letter said your EZAir flight would be protected. Was there nothing available to protect? So sorry this happened and even worse….twice. SMH BTW, I’d ask @Host CJSKIDS if it’s possible to delete those booking numbers in your post. Private information.
  19. Yes, they do, but there was always space with walk ups. But, that was a longer cruise. They were so nice there, I’m sure they will help with finding a private table. Fast fingers! @memoak
  20. The MDR’s all have same menu. Book the time you want, even if it is shared and speak with the DR host the first night. They will check to see which MDR would be possible to get a private table. We liked the DaVinci DR because of being midship and they had private tables too. The dining is called DMW “dine my way”, basically, you can make a reservation, or do a walk up. I’ve found it’s best to book something and then change it once OB. Recheck periodically to see if they opened it. Easiest time to reserve is early or late. They no longer call it anytime dining. All MDR’s operate using the DMW, as described above.
  21. Have him send an email to them, explaining he applied and has not heard back. Send the same documents that are required and name, ship, date etc. He has checked the website to see if they posted the obc? Ask them to expedite. hello@stockperks.com
