  1. Doesn’t seem they have managed this very well. Did you have to wait like that “every night? We only waited the first couple of nights on any of the ships we’ve sailed since the restart. Once we were assigned our table, we just checked in and went straight to the table every night. We have not sailed the Majestic though. That’s too bad they’ve not gotten it organized by now.
  2. If you go on the AA website, flight 72 is an AA flight SYD LAX and it is sold out in Business class. IDK if that’s your flight or not. The other nonstops are operated by Qantas. So, if that is your flight, you would call AA and request an UG and the price. If you have AA miles, they may be able to put you on an UG waitlist.
  3. The operating carrier is AA you say? Then, if this is an AA flight, the UG, if permissible would be done by AA. You should have an AA record locator or PNR. AA can pull the record up by their true flight number and date. Did you call them to see if UG was available? Did you check in for the flight? Usually, UG would be offered to buy or use miles. Most important thing, who is operating the flight. This is not an EZ Air function. They have nothing to do with UG’s. Unless you initially bought a premium economy or business class fare.
  4. We order online at Vons and do a quick pickup with Uber/Lyft on the way to the hotel. We stay at the Crowne Plaza and the Vons on Gaffey is the closest. We also have ordered and had wine delivered to the hotel.
  5. These are the magicians who are going to be behind “The Black Door” on the new Princess Sun ship! They are practicing first! 🤣
  6. You don’t have to, but we do. You can show up at any time without a reservation, but you may have to wait a little. Similar to Anytime Dining. We like to book for a time that is convenient for us, same time and a private table. If you want to change or cancel once OB, you can do that one day at a time on the App. The nice part is, you can choose which MDR you want. Maybe the one closer to your cabin would be nice. 2 midship MDR or 1 Aft MDR. If they are available. Now that ships are getting full again, I think it is a good idea to book something and just change it if you need to. It’s called Dine my way (DMW) now and you’ll find it on the App or on the website version of the App.
  7. Yes. But the ramp is right there anyway, if you just have a carryon. NP
  8. Does your Feb cruise show correctly on the website? If it does, use the website version of the App, sign in using your booking number and then try DMW on there. Sign into cruise personalizer and move down the page; You can also.. refresh the downloaded App, delete the App and reinstall it. Then try again. Did you recently cancel and rebook cruises?
  9. Try signing into the website and use the website version of the App. DMW dine my way. If you use the downloaded App, make sure you have a credit card stored in the payment section. You should be able to book SD now. The only thing that may affect that, is if they are updating dining venues on that ship. Then, you’d just try again later.
  10. NP. Did you find your bid?
  11. There is an Ocean Ready prompt on the phone line, they will either help or write up a ticket for you. The other email I have is: A360ad7@carnival.com Make sure to tell them you’ve been trying to get help. List: Full name Ship and sail date Booking no. Exactly what your errors and issues are with your booking or the App. If it’s information on the website with your account, then PCL agent or chat may be able to help.
  12. Yes, the drop you off right at the luggage drop, on the left of the entrance door. Check your luggage and you’ll have people directing you to the check in lines. Very simple in PE.
  13. Yes, they send an email that your bid was received. Maybe went to junk mail? You can check on it. Just open that email bidding offer from them and it shows how much you bid. You can change the amount, cancel the bid or put in other bids. If you don’t have the email, sign into your cruise personalizer and you’ll see… upgrade your cabin …same thing, you can see your old bid, or offer a bid. Only 1 bid will be accepted, so you don’t have to worry. If you don’t see any bid, then for some reason, they did not receive it.
  14. I know, it took me a few seconds to see the type-O or in this case the “I”…😄
  15. Like riding a Bronco! 😜 It is different for sure. If it’s really rough, it feels like the front is slapping down on the waves. Kinda like turbulence, which you know about. If it’s the Regal, she handles it very well. Roughest weather was UK to Azores in a storm and then the TA was fine. Life is like a box of chocolates, never know what you’re gonna get! 😆 Have fun!
  16. I wonder if you have to have the Plus/Premier package? 😜
  17. I think this is a recommendation from the Dr. Health quality may be lacking in Panama if they became ill. Covid vax, you just need to look at government requirements, where ever you travel. It was required earlier this year for Panama. Check it now and recheck before your travel date again.
  18. You are good to go from NY. You do not need a QR. They will just ask if you’re in the Green or Blue lane. Go through the Green, with your OM, Passport, any others docs required. Print out your travel summary, in case any questions. Enjoy!
  19. We never chance it. Enroute weather anywhere could affect your flight or crew. I would go the day before and spend the night in Ft Lauderdale. It’s not worth the stress or missing your cruise. Best of luck to you, whatever you choose.
  20. Would you look at your QR… does it say cabin pending and deck pending? Or, the actual deck & cabin no? TIA
  21. Each of you have one. Sign into his account on the App and he has one. If I had to guess, the coding is only different with the name/dob. Anyway, I just screenshot each one. Although, they won’t ask for it. 🥴
  22. We had it on the UBD on CB and 360 on the Enchanted. But, all depends on availability. I would check once OB with the DRO, who should know.
  23. I went as far as the name entry and didn’t see where it said it was fully refundable with the accessible cabin. Surely, if you booked it, then it would spell it out? I’d just call my TA tmrw to check it out.
  24. OR, the Salty Fog would be good too! 🤣 Just kidding you, @memoak Made me laugh today. 😆
  25. Yes. You can request it on the airline website or just call them and order one. When you arrive at the airport, let the skycap know you ordered a wheelchair, or the airline rep just inside the check in counter. If you order a wheelchair, they will meet you on arrival and get you to baggage claim.
