  1. Looks like a dip. Looks really nice. I wouldn’t be able to eat dinner after that! 🥴 Nice Italian or French bread would be super with that. Or, crostini. 😋
  2. If you bring Alexa along, that will be an extra $14.99. 😂
  3. No restrictions if it is a magnet. They did stop the balloon decor for Bday/Anniv from PCL. They said it was because of tape that might damage the door. I’m sure it was discontinued due to money. But, as long as you don’t use tape, you’ll be fine.
  4. IDK. Don’t do NCL. PCL seems to be more competitive with X and RCI, as far as followers. IMO BTW, X has the Magic Carpet outdoor seating on the Edge.
  5. Yep, unless….they could squeeze in some casual dining venues out there! 🤣 $14.99 and up!
  6. Princess sails from Port Everglades, Ft Lauderdale. There’s not a requirement to show a covid vaccine card, unless it is required by a country you are visiting. I don’t see any such requirement on any cruises, except recently they were requiring tests and vaccines for Australia/New Zealand. You should check with your TA or check each country you are visiting to see if any restrictions are in place. Now that covid is increasing, we may see some changes. Always, check yourself, as this can change. Don’t rely on CC.
  7. Good idea. We take painters/masking tape. We put a led battery op candle in the bathroom at night. Plenty of light. We have used a bandaid when we didn’t have tape available. Never duct tape, as that could leave a residue. Another brainy idea from PCL, that we all have to workaround. 🤣
  8. Here’s a great resource for casual dining, made by @dides.
  9. 😂 RCI did that exact thing. They were slammed by guests. They definitely wouldn’t pay for it. I wouldn’t either, Sorrento's pizza is not that good. IMO
  10. Maybe they are stuck in the wrong year!🥴
  11. I do not see a problem with those. Some are hesitant to book a cabin if it’s near an elevator, stairway or the laundrette. We’ve stayed near all of those areas and have not had any issues with noise. I don’t see that any of the mentioned are connecting rooms. So, okay there.
  12. If you booked through a TA/CVP, then I would ask them. I’ve never heard of adding a beverage package with the GC’s pre cruise. You can use them to purchase your cruise or your final payment. You can turn them into OBC ahead of time, although I wouldn’t suggest it, if you have to call in to do it. Been there, done that. Your TA/CVP can add them to your OBC, or at least most of them. However, if you add them as OBC pre cruise, you still can’t buy the package until you are OB! So, I would suggest, take them to GS when you board, add them to your folio, THEN buy the beverage package OB with GS, on the App, or with any of the crew selling the package. You will also save the insurance amount you would have paid pre cruise. Only drawback, is if your cruise is way out 24/25…the beverage packages may increase by then. IDK
  13. Very smart! Everyone should print their travel summary. You never know when you may need it. We’ve had outages before too.
  14. They just need to see one, if they even ask for it. Most of the time, they just see your information come up on the screen from your OM’s as you approach the podium. No need to scan the QR code. I’ve only had Barcelona ask for a QR code. US ports did not. They just ask to see your documents, like your passport.
  15. Disregard looking for a statement. I found a recent statement and it has the exact wording as the OP.
  16. I just found one of my recent cruises. It is the same as your wording. Quote: We’re so happy that you sailed with us. We hope your vacation brought you closer to the people you traveled with and the destinations you visited. Enclosed you’ll find a summary of your onboard charges. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at https://www.princess.com . Any remaining authorizations will usually be released in less than 14 days, depending upon your banks policy. Thank you for choosing Princess.
  17. If you still have your emails, would you check the exact verbiage used, including the work banks or bank’s in the last paragraph? TIA
  18. That’s a new one on me. Could it have just fallen through the cracks, and they put it back in queue to be sent out? They were extremely short staffed after the restart in late 2021 and 2022. I think it just resurfaced and was sent out. Did you email or call for reimbursement, refunds or a statement for this cruise in 2022? If so, that could be the reason it got lost and now appeared. You don’t have to open it, up to you. Looks legit to me. You said you verified the sender’s email address, by hovering over the email address line on a PC, I assume. You don’t owe money, or they would not wait 15 months! 😜
  19. That looks very normal as a final statement from your cruise. You probably meant you cruise was May 2023? We usually get these statements in just days after the sailing. However, many have been reporting lately, those final statements have been arriving, months after the cruise. It seems as though the accounting dept. has been very far behind, or outsourcing? No clue there. Looks very typical of a final statement, with noreply email, princess.com hyperlink and showing your booking no. I would not hesitant to open. Had you made an inquiry about this cruise in the past? It may have been forwarded to you in that case. BTW, welcome to CC!
  20. Not sure of the mailing date, but we usually get them about 10 days before sailing. They’ve been sending them by USPS and in a small white bubble envelope with a blue seawitch.
  21. All of mine are longer cruises and therefore they are all $400 PP deposits. Long gone are the days of $1 deposits. 😞
  22. That wouldn’t make a difference. However, the actual cruise could make a difference. Some are anywhere to $100-400 per person. The longer ones being the highest. Unless, there is a promo or sale. Just be careful, because there are refundable and non refundable deposits and it is noted on the website. You choose the cabin, is usually a refundable deposit.
