Sorry to read of your loss. It is hard to lose our 4 legged friends. I am following along as I have never been to New Orleans and would love to do this cruise. The next two years they are not as long🤬. Do they not have the ingredients for the Lavender Lemon Drop at the Martini Bar? I would be looking for missing ingredients myself at first port. We were on Reflection in early January. DD drinks moscato like water-lol. She was able to get it almost everywhere. The first night we ate at Lawn Club she was told not available. We went back 3 nights later and the sommelier said I will get it for you and poured her a few glasses.

You are most definitely in a “hump” balcony deluxe veranda. The balcony is by far larger than a regular balcony. We usually book on the back slant whereas you are in the forward slant. I am interested to know how the wind is on your balcony as we would be open to more possibilities. Enjoy this itinerary, we were on in early January for the same. If you are snorkeling in Bonaire with Woodwind, they are a great company; Bring an extra $40, one of the guides takes a couple of hundred photos of fish and guests that you can purchase and they send you a link later that day. Have throughly enjoyed all your trip reports in the past. Sorry to read of your recent loss and that you are solo cruising. Hope the cruise helps to calm and relax you.

As a side note, we were originally booked on Emerald Princess for the Solar Eclipse in April, but we decided the old locks won out over the Eclipse as it was just an added bonus to us when we originally booked that cruise.

I am hijacking this thread slightly. We are booked on the Coral WB in January also. I have started looking at excursions and wonder what the best thing to do the day in Fuente Amador that would enhance the transit. Quite a few look interesting. Thanks.

We usually do not get off in Nassau. However, the end of November we did a food tour with Tru Bahamian Tours and had a great time. I felt 100% safe the entire time. The guides were great. I feel for the tour companies like this one that may lose business over the actions of a few.

I will add we were on Royal in August in Reserve Class Dining. We had eaten once at Alfredo’s with our Plus fare. The last night, DD wanted pizza for dinner. The maitre D came over to discuss and shortly after, her pizza arrived. It could have been because we were in Reserve Class, but she was happy they were able to do this.

I have another EZ Air question I have flights booked thru EZAir to Europe in the fall and I want to switch flights. On EZAir, my new flights would be about $400 more (3 seats) then what I have currently, but directly with the airline the new flights would be about $800 cheaper. I am reluctant to book directly with the airline this far out as it would mean non refundable tickets. If I call and speak to an EZAir representative, do they offer a lower price then I see online? We had the same timing in Victoria in August. We did not get off, but our balcony was port side and people were definitely getting off. No clue where they were going at 9pm. I think we left shortly after midnight.

If we are flying from the NY area, when is a good time to arrive in a Saturday? We had 4-5 flight times to pick from and of course picked the earliest arriving at 6:20 am.

We went out with Jayleen’s Alaska last summer and had a great time. She was not our captain but runs a great company. Several years ago, we went with Jayleen when she was working for her dad at Harv and Marv’s. I definitely agree to find a small boat (6 people) for the best experience.

They were pouring Grey Goose and Ketel One in large quantities at the Martini Bar on Reflection last week. The ship was full, bars were packed, and the bartenders were great.

I was charged for Decoy in the MDR on Saturday on Reflection. I was ok with it as I had a small amount of OBC left.

No. We were just on Reflection and had tea, juice and toast delivered every day.

Same info was in room on Reflection 2 days ago for arrival in FLL.

We opt out with go green, still have twice a day if DD is awake and we take down the sleep sign. I have earned my points for go green even when we have 2x.

If that's the case, can you revoke permissions to use the card for shoreside purchases I was able to remove the permission on the new app, but I had to do it for all 3 of my party. It switched us to “6 out of 7” completed status. Neither one of the other 2 have downloaded the new app. On the old app, we are green lane all the way. We do not sail for several months, so am following to see what happens.

Can anyone on board now or next week confirm what whisky or bourbon is available on the premium package without paying an upcharge? We enjoyed Buffalo Trace on Summit the last week of November. Sailing on Reflection in a few weeks.

OP here. Thank you to all who answered my questions. I did go ahead and book our flights with EZ air. I was able to select seats in United for both legs. However, while our return flight shows those seats gone on United site, our flight over shows our seats as still available. How long should I give this before calling and is it better to call EZ air or United directly? TIA

We were able to refare and save $1250 for our DD as 3rd person. We lost $600 in EZ air discount that we didn’t even know we had. So we still saved almost enough to cover her Plus fare and are fine with that.

We have never used Princess Air and are looking to book for a European cruise. The fares I see are about half of the airline fares. My questions are: 1. flexible fares are refundable but do the quoted fares change prior to payment if the airline fare increases? 2. can we use airline miles to upgrade after booking? 3. major drawbacks to using ez air for Europe? I am sure these questions have been asked but would be grateful for any answers. thank you

We did this excursion last week and definitely give it a 10. We had a great time, the food and drinks were good and our guides were fun and engaging. It was our first tour of this type but we will be looking to do more. We usually do not even get off the ship in Nassau so this was a great find.

Has anyone found the Florida to Bayonne repo cruise for spring 2025? I know it will be Sillie but I am unable to find details. I see the first Bermuda/Charleston cruise departs Bayonne 5/8/25, so it must be before that.
