Exactly. Some people seem to be getting confused about casino cruises and these free cruises. They are not the same. I’ve never received a free cruise either and I’m a 5 star. Clearly they are not rewarding cruisers they feel they have in the bag. I’ve cruised other lines and I’m not afraid to do it again.

Expectations sure, but do they? When someone complains that they still have to pay port charges and crew incentive on a free cruise something tells me that won’t be the highest spender on the cruise.

I don’t recall any additional items for breakfast. You can have a mimosa for free. There is one additional entree for dinner. I agree club orange is pretty decent. I eat there pretty much every breakfast. I do specialty restaurants at night because I get freebies and discounts but the dinners I’ve had at club orange have been really good.

In my experience if best fare and have it all are the only fares list then there is no “special” pricing on that cruise. That has been my experience. My point is you shouldn’t have to click all the way to purchasing and putting your credit card in. At least I don’t have to to see if I have “special” pricing.

Well it's clear as day as far as I'm concerned. Hal doesn't give me free cruises or casino rates so I can only speak to what I've seen. I can't speak to what other people have seen. The subject is about not being able to see private fares. If you can see them to me it doesn't matter what type they are. YMMV.

Yes club orange but the mdr is identical. The last cruise I took was in mar 2022. I hope they aren’t cutting hours down. They are short enough already.

In my experience breakfast has been 7:30 to 9 on port days and 8 until 9:30 on sea days.

Yup I’ve had people get overly personal and then someone on here wanted to know what they were asking 🙄. When I wouldn’t answer he was grilling someone else. I don’t care if people ask where I live, what I do etc but you don’t need to ask super personal things. I’m still very nervous about being around a lot of strangers, I’m forced to do that at work for long periods of time. No way am I going to do that with what little free time I have.

I’ve been on the koningsdam for 4 weeks. It was 2 weeks in November and 2 weeks in March 2022. No Mariners lunch. I know for sure because the mdr was open the days when it would occur. I don’t enjoy it so I was happy to have the mdr open and not to go to the lido.

Actually you could get you picture taken on the koningsdam with the captain too. You just reminded me. It’s not my thing so I didn’t. Interesting about the Mariners luncheon. That’s the first mention I’ve heard of that since the start up. Good for those that enjoy it.

I would imagine all cruise lines stock are low. Hasn’t stopped them from bringing out their itineraries. I’ve worked at publicly traded companies almost my entire career. Not once have any of them folded up the tent saying let’s give up now because the stock is low.
