I’d love to see the Rotterdam do Alaska. Alaska isn’t my favorite because I get enough of cold weather at home (where I live, not in my house 🙄) but I could be tempted by the Rotterdam.

Yeah, I’m not patient but I didn’t want the people in the regular line to have a cow because they were there first so I waited, and waited. I thought maybe they would wake up but they didn’t. I had so many problems on my last cruise they probably didn’t want to deal with another one. Me either.

I've stood in the club orange line at the front desk only to be completely ignored. They took person after person from the regular line while I stood there. Only when I spoke up did they attend to me so it may not be the dream people think it is.

Agree. I think most of the value is with the upgrade. I like the small dining area but I don’t know if that’s worth the $25 per day.

Now don’t encourage that behaviour 😛. I think everyone should soak up those freebies 😉.

I have serious doubts this is going to bring much money into the coffers. This is my concern. Gamblers are one thing. I can see some upside there. When people get a free cruise then commit that they still have to pay crew incentive and port tax and wanting have it all for the entire cruise for a hundred bucks I’m not confident it’s going to be a money maker for them. It just seems to me that people are mistaking this for a casino offer which it’s not. It’s concerning for sure that they are not releasing next year’s itineraries.

I’m not sure why people keep talking about the casino. Those are not the same as the free random cruises hal is giving out. Two different things. There are multiple threads at any given time talking about those casino freebies.

I’m thinking not based on some replies on this thread. It doesn’t appear that people that book semi regularly will receive these offers.

I’m not sure why that area would be free. It defeats the purpose for those that pay a good chunk of cash for them. Can you go into the area on the Princess ships for free? I’m curious because I’ve never heard of such a thing. I know that you can’t go into the sanctuary for free.

I’m pretty sure wcb also said the same about the Dutch cafe. I wish they’d add the New York pizza that they have on most ships. I don’t have it that often but I do enjoy it when I do.

Yup, mirror image for me of what you said. I spend too much time indoors either working or because it’s stupid cold a good portion of the year. I love spending time outside either in the cabana or enjoying the sunshine.

Exactly. Right hand meet left. Anything to get rid of a person. You should have asked them for one of those free cruises they are handling out like candy to a select few so you could pick up your pin in person.

The prices are still correct for the retreat cabanas so I'll go out on a limb and say they are probably correct for the lido ones.
