I agree with what you say. I have some future cruise deposits as well. Thankfully they are refundable if not used.

I feel like I’m going to have to go elsewhere. There is nothing suitable that works for me in spring and I’m holding out very little hope for fall. I’m not thrilled with the direction that hal is taking lately either. They seem to be turning their back on people that have put a lot of money in their business in favour of bargain hunters.

Both. I was shocked at the questions he was asking and the detail he was going into especially since I have a nexus card. For some reason they can’t recognize me by my nexus picture even though I look exactly the same. I’ve never had issues at my home airport before Covid but it seems totally different now. I won’t be answering any questions about what exactly was asked because posters then state it’s never happened to them therefore it didn’t happen to me nor will I entertain questions about the airport.

I hear you. I have a fair bit of obc this time, most of it non refundable. If it came directly out of my pocket, I would definitely think about it more.

I would never be able to get a prescription from my doctor just in case. I’m not taking a suitcase full of meds either because I don’t tolerate most medications very well that includes otc and prescription meds.

I don’t see how it can be seen as anything but a good deal. I’m amazed that anyone has to even ask the question. I mean, what is the downside? Having to pay for a flight after paying really nothing isn’t a downside to me.

I think some just love to go to the worst possible outcome. I’m not convinced that’s going to happen and I’m definitely a glass half empty person.

Yes of course because someone has to pay for these promos. It sounds to me that these promos are going out to new cruisers on hal. I can pretty much guarantee that even if you had a promo code for it there would be zero chance of you getting it. I’m not speaking of you specifically. I also believe I’d have zero chance and I’m a five star as well.

Hopefully the op will come back to say if it worked. I’m not the most optimistic person in the world but I think it could happen. I wouldn’t want to test the theory though just for giggles.

It was never there before. I did always tip but I saw very , very few people do it. I know everyone says they are very discrete and I don’t wave my tip around either but I don’t see people shaking hands to pass it either. Of course I don’t have a birds eye view of everyone. The only person I’d ever seen tip was a cruise director in the tamarind the same time I was. If people were tipping as heavily as you hear on here I doubt there would be the 18 percent charge.

I agree, why part with your money before you have to? I don’t even want to pay it when it’s due. I’m a person who pays my credit cards off every month too.

That’s a mirror image of my cruises on the koningsdam as well in March 2022 and November 2021.
