You could always wear one twice. I used to bring a LOT of clothes. I still bring plenty. I wear things multiple times now unless I spill on it (which happens a lot).

I wish I had a dollar for every time I heard “only you can decide”. I don’t think they op was looking for others to decide for them. Personally it seems like a lot. I don’t think I would do it for 7 days.

It scared the daylights out of me in the bathroom because I wasn’t expecting it. I prefer the cute ones myself.

That’s the truth. I will do that. I’m a little worried because my cruise seems to be almost sold out. It’s going to be an adjustment to the last couple of cruises that were around 50 percent. Thanks everyone.

I wish hal would fix that immigration issue for Canadians. I'm getting emails constantly and I've been told to ignore them as long as the online check in shows complete.

They were doing this on the koningsdam november 2021. Also had one sitting on the toilet.

Yeah, I get tired of fighting for discounts so I only book a couple. I know people will say they've never had to fight for it. I'm speaking only for myself.

Thank you for that information. I hope that is true but I suspect that is just to placate people. They've been "working on" the online discount for mariners that get that for about 20 years now.

I few weeks ago a poster mentioned they were able to book their 5 star freebies ahead of the cruise without paying by calling the mariner society. I'd never heard anyone else mention it besides this poster. I decided to call today and the person told me that it's not available. Has anyone been successful in doing this? I realize you get freebies with HIA but I'm not speaking about that. I also realize you can book and pay but I'm not talking about that either. Thanks.

That’s what I was thinking. It would be “fun” for me to walk 2 miles but you wouldn’t get me on a zip line either 🤪.

I have known people that were able to book excursions 3 days before the cruise with obc. This was pre pandemic.

My personal favorite is c supply chain. That works for everything 😛.

You dress whatever way you want as long as you don’t complain that you can’t wear shorts. I tired of the I dressed up for work argument. Clearly you like casual more, nothing wrong with that but own it. I hope to retire in the next 5 years. I will still be on the dressy side. Where I work some people come in looking like they just finished their work out.

What? I used to dress up and it takes some effort. When the person next to you is wearing ripped jeans or yoga pants on a formal night as the used to be called it doesn't inspire me to dress up. I don't think putting on a pair of long pants is asking the world, but I guess it is for some. Yes, someone was complaining recently that her husband was miffed that he had to wear long pants because he only brought one pair. They had multiple cruises on Hal so that hard to understand.

People complain when they have to put on long pants on a 7 day cruise. Hal has catered to this low standard by lessoning the dress code and it's still not enough! I'm glad that hal is doing this for those that enjoy dressing up.

Thats one of my biggest pet peeves in lukewarm food. I especially hate it when it's at a specialty restaurant.

You’ll likely have a better chance with a day here and there. On my last couple of cruises there were a couple cabanas open for day rentals but you never know. I hope you will enjoy it if you do.
