Was that the one they hold on the first day or a later one?

@Hlitnerlets be honest here, it’s “not a few dollars” for club orange. I’m a 5 star who buys club orange and I don’t care who buys it. I don’t want to hear if I did “exotic” cruises it would make a difference for tendering. That’s such a lame comment because first club orange offers very little advantage on non pinnacle ships and “exotic” cruises are just going to attract higher level Mariners. People should be more concerned with all the free cruises hal offers to every Tom, dick and Harry.

The price went up, then down, then up from what I can see. When I was on the koningsdam in March I paid the $65 or whatever before the discount. I “think” that included the 18%. A couple months back I started a thread saying that the price had gone down the the $47.20 including the service charge. I booked 2 reservations for my next cruise. When I looked at my app the price was up again. I should have booked more with the “sale” 😛.

Yes you will. That’s exactly what I did for my next cruise. Of course there has to be availability. I’ve never tried to change after the fact.

It’s still showing on the deck plans gala deck on the sapphire. Any chance I get to eat in a restaurant I take. I can’t understand people wanting to eat every meal in a cafeteria. That’s not a vacation to me and it’s way too people-y.

It was in the restaurant proper. It was on the sapphire Princess if I remember correctly. It was a number of years ago.

I don't think anyone is purchasing it for an investment at this time. It's a horrible investment. It does get you OBC. I've never gotten a free drink out of it.

So is it small? I can't tell. I've never been in the "public" ones on the ship. That said, if the "public" ones are for the other 2000+ passengers and these ones are for 50 (?) that could use it in the retreat it would make sense that they would be smaller.

I don’t remember them being small. They looked normal size to me from the ground. I’m not a hot tub person though unless it was my own. I’m not a stew with strangers person.

I bought mine a long time ago when they were high. I’m sure the obc has paid it off over that time. I have very little in the stick market because I always look at it like it’s lost money. If you are counting on it as retirement money good luck with that.

Yes the standard liquor that they usually have in the fridge. I like to keep water or Perrier in there. I usually find a place to put the goods with a note for them to take it away. I always think to myself what if I was an alcoholic with no control when they say they will take it away and won’t. Clearly there is a disconnect between ships and shore side.

I’ve had Alfredo’s pizza once. I remember it being so so. I think Hal’s New York pizza is better than that.

I gave up on asking my minibar to be emptied. I’d sit on hold forever pre pandemic and they told me no problem it will be done. Not once was it ever done.

I've had zero luck with those free fax things. I'm in Canada and I'm not giving a credit card to use something "free". Emailing works for me.

Fine, but we are talking about neither of those things here. They have a new fangled thing called docusign now as well. I think that replaces or surely lessens the need for faxes.

That’s the way it was on the koningsdam in Mexico in March 2022. I never received a ticket although I’m sure I could have requested one or they could have used my cruise card. As a matter of fact even though I had the ticket open on my phone she insisted on using my cruise card.

Doesn’t sound weird at all. I get absolutely drained by being around others for periods of time. I get recharged by being alone. I don’t think some get that.

The dive in is so overrated. If the onion rings taste like they do in the pinnacle be happy they don’t have them. They taste like nothing, no flavour whatsoever.

The $50 purchase of the have it all doesn’t ever include the crew appreciation or whatever they call it. In order to get that you have to get the have it all pricing on the website. In my case it’s been multiples of that $50 per day.
