  1. Transfers have been horrible for many years. I experienced what you described and booked a car for every cruise after.
  2. What do you think the differences are between someone who sails on NCL and someone who sails on Regent...and how do you determine who sails exclusively on one or the other (as I assume your comment isn't meant for people who sail both).
  3. This is a cruise that is still 2+ years away?
  4. Not Regent's fault though....Brazil is......well, Brazil.
  5. There are none - I work with them all. Where I spend my own money should indicate my preferences.
  6. Just more drama and First World problems...
  7. There is a difference between criticizing Regent and accusing them of Fraud. They may be, at times, unorganized and have bad communication skills, but I have never seen anything that looked like fraud.
  8. They do. Plus 90% of the crew and they work 24 hours a day.
  9. They designed the ships prior to a construction bid.
  10. Physical changes after. Other changes before. But please remember, I am not an official source and I only share what I hear that won't get anyone in trouble. Subject to me being wrong, of course.
  11. Perhaps but I know it was discussed very recently. Also, expect BIG changes for Mariner.
  12. I think the WC is going to move to Explorer at some time in the future.
  13. Far more likely that something else is going to happen....a more extensive refit, a sale or a re-purpose.
  14. What did the GM say when you asked about it?
  15. This occurs when there is a waiting list for your cabin class. Regent will offer you an upgrade and then resell your cabin to a person from the WL....OR they will offer you a FCC plus refund in order to lock in a additional dollars today. Its all about getting the occupancy rate as high as possible while securing cash flow.
  16. It ABSOLUTELY was closed due to budget. It used up 4 additional staff (on top of the standard staff loadout) and these 4 were housed in 2 guest suites. Due to 15% reduction in non-fuel expenses (as per SEC filing), NCLH decided to close it. While I consider it a great loss to my own onboard experience, I understand why is was necessary.
  17. Mariner has an extensive 20 day drydock November of 2025.
  18. Mariner goes in for 20 days in November of 2025...based on current plans.
  19. I get it and I appreciate it - too many people in the world today are wound too tight.
  20. Sorry, just a skipped beat in the old brain....210 days = 7 months so I carried the 7. I know it makes no sense but its better than admitting I was drinking alone in the dark. 🤪
