  1. I've seen a couple dozen Speedtest numbers from M and G....the max seems to be about 4mbps.
  2. Always book Regent Air, always Deviate at max time frame, always arrive at least 1 day early if overseas and always take a direct flight if possible. You can travel/return up to 30 days from the cruise dates...roll in an additional vacation.
  3. What did your TA say when they asked Regent about the discrepancy?
  4. Yes but the poster I was quoting said he was on Splendor which does not have Starlink operational yet. Mariner is running about 1 MBPS and Grandeur is running about 4 MBPS as of this week.
  5. It isn't - they ought to tell her no. And she says she doesn't want to be asked to sing. Regent lets her bring it so people can see her onboard.
  6. I don't know that answer. I did pull the schedule though and I don't see a day that Explorer is in port alone... https://www.cruisemapper.com/ports/ketchikan-port-409?tab=schedule&month=2024-05#schedule
  7. Unknown without confirming with Regent. The docks are typically assigned by availability and what the cruise line's budget is.
  8. Can you use regular OBC in the casino or is it limited to REFUNDABLE OBC only?
  9. Correct - there is no high-speed option. There is an option for "streaming" but all that does is prioritizes your request for data and pushes everyone else to the back of the line.
  10. Thank you! I am getting reports from Mariner and Grandeur and they are both running 3-4 MBS. It is much better than what it was before but not as fast as RCC (they were 30 - 40 MBS) a few months ago when I tested. Still....steps in the right direction!!!
  11. Any chance you would please run SPEEDTEST and post a screenshot of the results?
  12. Apologies - I need to read my own link a little better.
  13. I think he fills out the form to refer his friends....
  14. The automated gangway in Miami is Port property. Port personal will come to the end of it, where it meets the ship, to assist guests. I have seen this happen multiple times including quite recently.
  15. Oh...the extras box. Nothing exciting in there that I recall.
  16. It all depends on what cruise line and if they actually follow the policy of not. Even Regent has departmental policies for tipping but they are generally not followed. We have friends on RCC who do not pool tips and one friend makes over $100K a year as a bartender....mostly tips. She left Regent to go there.
