  1. What the heck is wrong with them!! That is so rude how they ignored you. Or they thought you were intoxicated and didn't need another drink. I've seen that happen to some.
  2. I find that very few dress formal on summertime caribbean cruises. That's unacceptable that no waitstaff assisted you in the solarium. You shouldn't have to ask.
  3. The card left in your cabin was probably written earlier in the day as it matches the traditional dining shown on your sea pass. If the person at the dining room suggested for you to arrive at 545 pm I would do that. I hope that worked for you tonight.
  4. Plenty of laundromat near port everglades. https://www.google.com/search?q=laundry+mat+near+port+everglades&oq=laundry+mat+near+port+everglades&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIJCAEQABgNGIAEMg0IAhAAGIYDGIAEGIoFMg0IAxAAGIYDGIAEGIoFMg0IBBAAGIYDGIAEGIoFMg0IBRAAGIYDGIAEGIoFMgoIBhAAGIAEGKIEMgoIBxAAGIAEGKIEMgoICBAAGIAEGKIEMgoICRAAGIAEGKIE0gEJMTMyODJqMGo3qAIUsAIB&client=ms-android-boostdish-us-revc&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8#smwie=1
  5. Yup night 1 is always chaotic. We always check our dining reservation right after boarding. We prefer traditional dining with the first seating of 5 or 5:30 pm. This way we can go right to our table without waiting in any line. No point of ruining your buzz waiting in a line😉 In the morning you may want to go to dining room and ask about your future reservations.
  6. I haven't attended a sailaway party in a very long time. Guess I'll have to check it out again on my next cruise in January.
  7. Your bestie TS had a big pool party at her RI home. I figured you were on the guest list along with Bradley Cooper and Ryan Gosling.
  8. You should be able to buy stuff at 1st port stop. The stuff onboard on way overpriced. Or maybe you have a really nice room steward that will give little bottles to hold you over for now.
  9. Night 1 is always hectic in the dining room, expect a line. There will be one for reservations and one without reservations. If you prebooked go to the reservation line.
  10. Do you have early.or Late dining or my time dining? If early the first seating maybe at 5 pm, check your seapass.
  11. They make drinks as they should be made. Once you find your "regular" hang out and get to know the bartender(s) they will take good care of you. Sorry noone mentioned about combo shampoo/bodywash. I always pack my own products wherever I go so I forget to mention to people cruising on Royal ships.
  12. I was fast ball pitcher on softball teams for Jr high and high school as well as local township team. My schedules were crazy. I would pitch a game for school then some nights have to pitch again for the traveling township league. I remember being exhausted when alarm would go off at 6 am to get up for school but lucky enough never had any physical issues (other than an ankle problem from sliding into 3rd base one game).
  13. Once onboard try a Kraken Pina Colada with extra shot on top if you like rum.....they are soooo good.
  14. Good thing you noticed the spots. My neighbors noticed the fish looked lethargic and when her daughter bent down to look closer she noticed a foul smell, ammonia. They moved in this past winter and acquired the pond with the home. They went into panic mode thinking they were going to kill all the fish. They all survived after doing the same thing you are doing.
