Our first kitty would climb the living room curtains then lounge on the pole and hang out there napping for hours. As he grew the pole/rod had a curve until he no longer fit. Then we got rid of them and put up blinds.

My DH takes prilosec on a regular basis at home and at sea but still needs an occasional tums. I seem to only need tums on cruises due to food and alcohol consumption. Sure do love their French onion soup, escargot and late night pizza which are all culprits.

There used to be a conference ctr on deck 5. If still there I would ask guest services if you could use that area or possibly the Tide dining room (small room before MDR on deck 4) for early morning work calls. The late afternoon / evening calls will be a challenge due to noise. Hopefully voom is ok in your cabin or the conference ctr is an option.

Does anyone know what time casino opens for play for sailings out of SJ? We have Jan 26th booked and wandering if we have to wait until 10 pm or so if we have sailaway at 9 pm.

Yes, it should be around $20 for an uber to or from Logan Airport to cruise port. Uber typically charges a fee to book ahead. I'm not sure if Lyft has a fee or not. I stopped reserving once uber started charging extra.

Our first visit was on Anthem for my DHs birthday. He wasn't sure he would like it but he really enjoyed. They brought us 4 appetizers and 3 entrees and 3 deserts so we could share. We told them what we liked and wanted to try then the waiter picked a couple extras to bring out. Their presentation is the fun part. Expect to be there at least 1 hr to sit back, relax and enjoy. Their cocktails are pretty cool too!

Perfect vacation timing. I remember a couple years ago my hubby had a tear and they put a protective cover into his eye similar to a contact lense. That really helped as they said the tear would have gotten larger with every blink. Best wishes to your wife for a quick recovery and a great vacation.🍹🍹

Wow, that had to be scary with her eye. Any idea how it happened? Happy to hear she could get to see an eye doctor then specialist immediately. That in itself is not easy these days. I hope she is feeling better today. Take care and look forward to your photos😊

We're looking forward to our January cruise sailing out of SJ. We are going to fly down on an early flight the day before to have time to explore plus sail away isn't til 8 or 9 pm. We have missed this as a port stop for various reasons at least 3 times.
