The drink is called a Caesar not a Bloody Caesar and I don’t care what they call them in your home town, state or province or what the bartenders call them on the ship, they are called CAESARS.

You can no longer use non refundable OBC to purchase CruiseNext certificates. Use it to upgrade your cruise experience, room service, premium drinks, duty free purchases, gif shop, and a host of other things not included in your cruise fare.

There is absolutely no consistency on YC perks from ship to ship and actually from cabin to cabin. As many posters have said “ MSC is notoriously consistently inconsistent”.

The only place you can sit without getting wet is around the bar.

Yes, I did it last year on the Joy using OBC.

We’ve stayed in the Joy Haven five times and loved every one of them. Next month, we’re doing a Haven Lite cruise on the Joy (12 day Southern Caribbean) and have purchased Vibe passes and the plus beverage package. Just wondering what sets the Joy Vibe apart from the others. We’ve found that two things make or break the Vibe experiences, the weather and camaraderie with (or lack there of) your fellow Vibe passengers.

My experience cruising in August is that the seas are usually quite tranquil. Usually a lot of convective activity in the evening making for Mother Nature fireworks. It’s actually really cool.

Thanks for the info on the Seascape. I have booked an early flight out of FFL, but now that the ship docks at 6:00 am I feel pretty comfortable with the flight time. We are staying in the YC, so we will be able to go to the front of the line once disembarkation begins.

For those of you who have cruised on the Seascape lately, what time does disembarkation usually begin at the Miami terminal.

Yes, there’s been mixed reports about that. When we enquired at the Latitudes Desk on the Joy a few weeks ago, they told us that someone did the diamond upgrade onboard the ship and were given a choice of 5 rooms. Go figure.

We were in the Joy Haven three weeks ago. As far as I can tell, no dress code. I wore shorts and a nice collared shirt and sandals every time we dined there.

Bumping this thread to hear about recent experiences.

We were on the Joy a couple weeks ago. They ran out of Prosecco and were indeed serving DUC as a substitute. We also received a bottle of DUC for our Club Balcony perk. Thinking of hiding them around the ship 🐥

We had a 9:45 am disembarkation time. We nearly missed our 2:30 pm flight.

It’s chaotic, but yes.

We booked a couple cruises with the water promotion and we did receive them in our cabin on the first day.

I’ve cruised in the YC six times (Caribbean) and wear shorts, with a nice collared shirt, in the dining room for all three meals, except for elegant night when I bite the bullet and wear long pants. I’ve never been turned away.

You must be sound sleepers because that location puts you right under the pool deck.

We were recently on decks 12 and 14 on the Joy, both fine. We were also on deck 15 on the Bliss, big mistake. We were under the pool deck so noise in the morning and loud thumping music at night.

Not sure what you mean by ‘program’. We booked the second guest flies free promotion that has been around for a couple years now.

In our case, NCL arranged air to San Juan after we missed embarkation in Miami. There was no further compensation.

The real issue here is the perk dropping from six strawberries to four.😢

We ate there twice on a recent back to back. I didn’t see any time limit listed anywhere and I believe you can order anything on the menu.
