The agency I believe you are referring to is actually a conglomerate of individually operated franchises. It depends on the policy of the individual business whether or not incentives are offered.
We hate the Escape. Our first cruise was on the Escape. The ship and the experience were so fantastic, we instantly fell in love with cruising to the point where we are now addicted and willingly pay exorbitant prices for reduced services 😜
We found the tasting quite enjoyable. Some are better than others but it’s the intent of the initiative that’s very interesting. We would definitely encourage fellow Diamond cruisers to attend the event.
So you received a 50% discount on your cruise fare from a PCC. Sorry, but I don’t believe you, unless it was the smoke and mirror discount they were running at the time.
FYI, I was the OP of that thread. Don’t know if they did it since, but there was an official statement posted on the thread with the decision reversal. Backlash can make a difference.
Consider yourself very FORTUNATE because on recent cruises, we had to wait ever time we DID NOT have a reservation. Maybe being solo makes a DIFFERENCE.
That was a while ago. The top tier at MSC is now diamond and I don’t believe they will status match you to that level unless you have Ambassador status on NCL.
My last steak at Cagneys wasn’t very good so I’m thinking of bringing my portable propane BBQ. Do you think I would be allowed to use it on the balcony?
The rooms are indeed great but the vibration when docking is unbelievable. Our bowl of fruit nearly vibrated off the table.
