  1. Like mines think alike. Exception is when drinking the swill in OVC the only way I can drink the battery acid is with milk in it.
  2. On Halloween they often also have a Parade of those that dressed up. A best costume award is made.
  3. Easiest way is to look at the current Infinity sailing on the App - Choose Dining Tab and then under each eating place - Under Times - Show More and will show schedule for complete cruise. It shows open daily (including Port Days) from 12:00- 3:00
  4. It would include free drinks in the Retreat Lounge ONLY. It will not cover you on the Retreat Sundeck or Luminae. It will not cover drinks at other venues, theater etc. If you have a Premium Drink Package and order a drink over $17 you only pay the difference plus 20% gratuity. If you don't have a package and order drink in Luminae you will be charged full price plus 20%
  5. How far in advance did you get the Check-In E-Mail?
  6. Many men wear Tuxedos but a Dark Suite is an acceptable substitution.
  7. I've never seen it. With due respect I also have never looked or asked for it. Do you know of any drinks they may have it in? Possibly could get it at a bar.
  8. Mine shows 3 points but my total only went up by 2.
  9. I'm wrong. I was thinking of having to use an App for Australia. Indonesia is web only.
  10. On the World Cruise 2023 @PQ Mamacita posted an excellent tutorial. The only thing I saw change was the visa cost doubled. Message 1256 - Link below
  11. Sushi on Five is Ala Carte unless in RS and above. My experience is Eden Cafe is NEVER open on port days (except late port days). You can check the app. On current Beyond (7 day) they are only open for lunch on day 3 and 5 (sea days). In addition to other suggestions - Spa Cafe have really nice small plate healthy items. My favorites are the Caprese Salad, Salmon Salad, Tuna Salad and Chicken Salad. They also have a Daily Sandwich on the menu board that you order and they make to order and deliver to your table. Spa Cafe is usually really quiet and peaceful.
  12. Once your Visa is approved you received an email with a QR coded Visa. BTW they also have an app and you can store the QR code. At the port Terminal they have regular looking immigration booths set up. They have a QR Code reader and you just scan it and the agent nods for you to proceed.
  13. You will want to go to official website. https://molina.imigrasi.go.id/ You want to apply for the Tourist Single Entry Visa for 60 days. It cost 1,500,000 IDR (approx USD $91). Sea ports are not listed so I just put in Benoa airport and had no problem. Some on our Roll call had problems with certain credit cards and debit cards. Most found it worked better if you applied during business hours. I personally had no problems and got it on the first try. When you arrive at Benoa you have to scan the QR Code in the terminal. If flying into Benoa I have read you can apply on arrival but there are often long lines. There is no visa on arrival at the port and in our case you could not board without it.
  14. Yes. I've posted this Video a number of times on how to change HDMI Port. I've used it on Apex.
  15. Luminae is never open on Port days unless arrival is at noon time. BTW Blu is never open for lunch. You can grab a light lunch at Retreat Sundeck - Spa Cafe have light meals that are really nice and a sandwich daily that is made to order on the menu on wall. Also OVC and Pool Grill are open
  16. I'm guessing that Celebrity will sail as scheduled and will not be making any accommodation. Last year we got stuck mid-flight in Dallas after FLL went underwater and was closed. It took us 2 days to get to Fort Lauderdale and luckily we had planned to arrive early. We arrived at 2AM on the day of our cruise. Even with the airport being closed for 1 1/2 days no changes or accommodation were made.
  17. Another local that would not recommend Oakland. Would really recommend using any travel booking company like Expedia, Hotels.com etc. Put in your dates and on the deliminator put in your maximum price. While I agree that prices in SF can be over the top of some of the top hotels - There are many nice, clean hotels and safe locations for the budget conscious. Prices can vary extensively when there is an event or trade show during your stay. I would concentrate you search on North of Market Street and East of Union Square. I've reserved places for budget conscious friends in San Francisco under $150 a night that were nice and clean and didn't break the bank. One that comes to mind is SureStay by Best Western San Francisco Marina District (nice area about a 20 minute walk to Fisherman warf) Lots of places to see and dine. 2.5 star property
  18. What I mean is when you go into the bidding window there is a slider bar on amount of bid - When you first move it slightly to right it will show the minimum bid (for each type of room) if you move it all the way to the right it will show you the Maximum Bit. The bid amount is per person. So for example you will probably see something like Minimum $500 pp person and Maximum $4,000 per person. There's an indicator with with marks on it for 0, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and Max. As you move the line it will show the likelihood of being the awarded the upgrade. If I recall it is color coded. So in my example a bid below say a bid of below $1,000 per person will probably not be successful. Example below https://emmacruises.com/celebrity-cruises-move-up Good Article that explains better than me.
  19. We also received our Confirmation e-mail today with our # on it. I notice that mine shows up on our reservation but Iain's doesn't show. Not really worried about it. They sure do hide your number --- how to really look for it after reading here that it was somewhere in the middle.
  20. Have your friends and yourself select the same dining option. Obviously you selected set time dining and your friends selected my time. Alternatively you can also select my time dining and then all 4 of you show up together and say table for 4
  21. I would start out and price out the difference in prices between a Penthouse and a Royal Suite. After you understand the pricing then look at the Minimum and Maximum bid prices. If it is within you budget I wouldn't hesitate. I would caution that they rarely are awarded below 25% of starting bid. Check out the two Suites on the left side of this link on CruiseDeck Plans and https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/ships/Celebrity-Reflection PS is about 2X the size of a RS A nice possibility is the Signature Suites on a private hallway and the Reflection Suite which is about 50% larger than the Penthouse
  22. If you are accustomed to Silversea, Azamara and Oceania I would definitely recommend traveling in a Suite. While many prefer E-Class to M and S class ships, I'm a contrarian and moving from Celebrity to Silversea and Oceania due to the decline in food quality and preparation on E-Class ships. The Luminae was created for the M and S class ships as meals prepared to order as opposed to banquet style cooking - My experience has been less than stellar on Edge and Apex. I've done Singapore to Rome (via India and the Suez) on an M-Class ship and loved it. While you do not have as many specialty restaurants - the ones they do have a very quiet and intimate as oppose to the E-Class concept of no walls an booming noise so loud you can't carry on a conversation while dining. Just watch a video of the Martini Bar Light Show which is open to Raw, Bistro and Fine Cut. Luminae on E-Class also have 2X the passenger load in suites and can be extremely loud also . While you have fewer choices of Specialty you do have the advantages that you can order from MDR and Blu menus which isn't usually available on E-Class ships. Just my 2 cents worth - I'm sure the E-Class cheerleader's will lambaste me. Just not my thing after spending about 3 months on E-Class in the last year an half.
  23. I have used Starlink everywhere from Greenland, Iceland, New Zealand, Europe and Asia also TransPacifics and TransAtlantics I have not noticed any difference in connectivity from any of these locations. As other's have said on occasion all internet is dropped usually when changing Satellites or Servers. Usually no more than a couple hours. You shouldn't have any trouble in the area that you describe. Speeds on Celebrity are throttled to about 5 MB down and 3 MB up which is fine for Zoom, streaming services like Netflix. I've had to participate in a number of Zoom meetings as well a VOIP calls.
