  1. No - you get points at the rate of the original booking
  2. You're more than half way there. Click on where you want the photo below the text. Then go to the photo in the bottom block and click the photo and it will insert in inline. I use a PC and when I hover over a photo it pops up a selection insert.
  3. What I do is to type a paragraph and then insert a photo. I hit one to two returns to keep the pictures separated or they all run together and hard to visualize. Another way is insert pictures with line space between them and then come back and click on an empty line and insert text.
  4. We have done it a number of times and most times we have done it it was cold and a bit rough until we got about 2 days from Hawaii and then the seas calmed and the temperatures became very comfortable. The Northwest is very prone to Storms forming in the Bering and coming down the coast. Thus the reason Seattle gets 40 inches of rain and 165 days of rain a year...
  5. Really enjoying the review and the wonderful pictures.
  6. Love the pictures of Seattle. Brings back such fond memories. As a consultant I use to live there M-F for 8 months. My Apartment was about 6 blocks from Pike's Market and overlooking the cruise terminal. If you want a good meal on the cheap -- check out Larry's Market --- Kinda like a Whole Foods but on steroids. You can buy many meals - ready to cook or eat in their Cafe. Iain use to have be bring back - various Stuffed Chicken Breasts -- Cordon Blu, Chile Relleno and Brie and Pear.. They have a place on Queen Ann's hill... I would often eat there when I didn't feel like cooking.
  7. I love mine and just bought an extra 4. If thinking of buying -- I would hold off. Rumor has it that Apple will release AirTag 2 next year with about 10x the range
  8. I had to set my alerts - I constantly get a notification when out shopping that I left my car behind. The good thing, if you are like me and constantly forget where I parked my car - they are invaluable. They also save me more than once - I was at my Son's about 1 hour drive away. Got about a block from his house and got an Alert I left my backpack and computer behind.... Quick U-Turn and all was good
  9. May be just a conjecture on my part. Current Zenith's are also admitted on a space available basis and I thought I saw a provision that in those cases a Lounge would be setup for the non-suite Zenith's. Would it be a good assumption that the Celebrity Zeniths, the Pinnacles and the SS's top cruiser might not make it into Retreat but send to an Alternate Lounge??
  10. I'm a double Zenith and trying Silversea for the first time in 2026. Can't say really excited except for the free laundry---- but basically a Zenith on SS gets the same benefits as an Elite. The benefit of 10% discount might be of interest but is on "Next" booking. Won't make or break a decision to book.
  11. I'm rather pleased as I will be sailing on SilverSea for the first time next year. It will be my first SS cruise and will get their highest level. The only benefit I see is an upgraded bottle of bubbly, free laundry and 10% discount on my next booked cruise. No big benefit --- 100VS equates to Select, 250 Elite, 350 Elite Plus and 500 Zenith - Zenith pretty much get same perks as Elite.
  12. They also have a sandwich that is not on display. It is on the menu on the wall. You order it and they delivery it to your table after they make it from scratch.
  13. Getting closer by the moment. Those tags can be fun. I was flying cross country and my bag must have been close to a person with an iPhone. I could see it flying with me.
  14. Excited to read. I have my first SS cruise booked for 2025 and am a Zenith.
  15. Over a decade of experience, they always seem to have a holiday sale over holidays and weekend and the programming to handle the sale screw up the website and no one there to fix what they broke. I've never seen any specific date or time for maintenance
  16. Yes with limitations. Generally in slots after you withdraw money from OBC you will be frozen out from additional withdrawals until you gamble between30-50% of the amount withdrawn. Varies by ship. If table games you can withdraw from cage and they will give you promotional chips. When you win you will receive standard chips.
  17. Agree with Spudd --- if you booked non-refunable you will loose. If you have a refundable I would presume you will get it back. Best to ask your agent or Celebrity.
  18. We have often managed with just puffers and sweatshirts. My only recommendation is that if you want to spend outside on deck at the Glacier make sure you bring Ear Muffs, Scarf and Gloves. It really gets quite nippy outside during the stay at the Glacier. My sister from Oklahoma (who never listens) didn't bring any of the above and I had to give up some of mine... should have just let her freeze.
  19. Glad you did. We really enjoyed the Gardens ---- If you have time you can also book Tea at the Empress on your own at about 1/2 the price of Celebrity. They bus drop off / pickup is usually right in front of hotel.
  20. @Georgia_Peaches - Really looking forward to you cruise. Our next cruise will also be to Alaska. For us it is only a quick 2 hour flight to Vancouver and will not be experiencing all the time zones.
  21. On that point I agree 100%. I don't think I have ever had a reservation made a year out that was not changed in some way. I have even made reservations 30 days out and had them dramatically revise the flight. The good thing is most airlines have rules that if a flight changes by more than XX minutes (90-120 for many airlines) they have to accept an acceptable rebooking at no charge or a 100% refund)
  22. For others --- Booking window for many airlines
  23. To my knowledge It has been that way for over a decade. They are part of Star Alliance. Go to their site and do a mock booking - Just did one for April 10 of 2025 - Results returned about 20 flights both AC and Code Share.
