What a nightmare. They should upgrade Cairns as Queensland’s number one cruise terminal. Brisbane doesn’t have much going for it’s a cruise port.

I think they are using the same Royal maths to calculate the speed and fuel burn as they use to calculate their sales. The answer to the equation is what suits Royal Caribbean best. Their drinks package was on sale a while ago, second person got 40% off. Full price was about $145 while one person could get it on special for about $100. But if you got the BOGO 40% off it worked out at $120 per person for the 2 people. Now that’s Royal maths.

I find it a bit hard to swallow my self. I’m sure there’s a new legislation but I think it’s more to do with enchantment being unpopular . They also swapped voyager for adventure in Galveston because of the same reason. Surely there can’t be that much difference in 2 almost identical ships.

23-24. Brilliance is showing quite a few to the islands in question. It looks like I’m getting ahead of myself.

Brilliance is coming into the system. The cruises that are coming up don’t have isles of pines, mare and lifou . There was supposed to be some restrictions on those islands for capacity and that’s why a smaller ship was deployed. They maybe getting ready to swap quantum for brilliance???

Enchantment and Brilliance is about the same but brilliance is newer and better. I think we see Enchantment leave the fleet soon. India or a Asian casino ship.

Just book it ,there will be a few benefits if they swap ships. Usually about November/ thanksgiving /December is the best time to book something. From my experience prices are good and you can get $1,000 OBC.And you can carry that $US 1,000 to another ship if there’s a charge.

I can’t see quantum being in Brisbane for the 23-24 season. Ovation is mostly sold out and Quantum is only half full for this coming season. Apparently RC has told Brisbane they plan on a ship there year round but I don’t think it will be quantum. My guess is quantum will move to sydney or Singapore next season. And sydney for the 23-24 season will have Ovation and Quantum or this is a big guess,Ovation and Wonder.

Well , I don’t see a problem at the moment but when or if you start getting images of you from nowhere. Like at the captains party or being served that special meal, possibly sitting with friends and all laughing. That’s when I would be concerned. RC do it . The bumper cars,the iFly have cameras but I stick my tongue out and it’s deleted straight away.

I think it’s Brisbane that is putting people off. Ovation is just about sold out and just going off the roll calls there a good amount of Americans. All wanting to climb the harbour bridge at $600 ,that’s one person said. Maybe Brisbane should be doing tours of the sewage plant. I don’t know if it’s similar with other brands?
