But I was signed up for that rewards program (and built up quite a number of points) and couldn't buy Carnival gift cards until I actually joined with a paid AARP membership. This was about a month ago. So I supposed the moral of the story that I would tell others is, try it without paying for a membership but don't be surprised if those cards aren't available. Because it looks like it could go either way! Inconsistency drives me nuts (them, not you).

Yep! We would usually check in when we were ready to leave our room (for dinner, for example) and get the notification that our table was ready while we were on our way. Walk up, tell them the table number, get seated, enjoy!

The only time I've ever been through a time change on the ship was when we sailed out of Long Beach. Never when we've sailed from Galveston regardless of destination. (all Carnival sailings except for one on Royal, all Caribbean or Bahamas)

If you missed it somehow (but I don't think you did), they would have let you know by now via email. Trust and believe that they know how to send emails. Looooooots of emails. 😆 (I get annoyed at how many emails they send me reminding me to use the booking manager that I already log into daily...)

If I had to guess, it's exactly what shof515 is speculating since I'm seeing the same thing. I have a cruise in September that I had to fill it out for and another in December 2023 that hasn't asked (and there are different people sailing so I don't think it's a matter of the answers carrying over).

I had an offer earlier this month for an Alaska sailing for $25pp if I could make my way to Seattle and sail about a week after seeing the offer. I had legit sadz because I couldn't just up and cruise for a week, also due to a job I like/need too much.
