  1. Do you know if they will accommodate any dietary restrictions, if you tell them in advance? For example, I don’t eat any pork or red meat. On other lines, the chef has made substitutions for me.
  2. That’s all well and good unless there is an issue that needs resolving.
  3. With some regret, I have cancelled my one upcoming cruise. Just too many issues and I can’t put my TA through any more. We have already cleared our schedules for that time so we will try to book another cruise during that time with another line. We will be back to Azamara when we can actually book a cruise, have our Discoverer status recognized, use our free nights, and receive the FCCs that we are due.

  6. I am so sorry. I would probably consider just canceling my cruise, but my TA has put so much time and effort into trying to help me that I am just going to muddle through. Not going to bother trying to book another for awhile though!
  7. Thanks for posting and glad you are having a good time so far, but some of my issues need to be resolved before final payment, which is due next month (4 months before I board).
  8. People are getting very angry on their FB page and they have been reaching out asking people to DM them with specific information so that they will then get back to them. I did this and of course there has been no response other than an acknowledgment of my DM
  9. This just in from my TA (for those who claim that TAs are having an easier time of it). Betsey, I wanted to stay in touch with you. I tried to reach Azamara both on Monday and Tuesday. After being on hold both days for 2 hours I had to take other calls. Today, I put everything else aside and told myself I was staying on hold for a long as it takes. After 4 hours and 32 minutes I was disconnected . Azamara shut their phones off. Tomorrow, I have a follow up doctor’s appointment, but I’ll be back on Friday and will get back on the phone.
  10. Hmm, I haven’t sailed on Journey, but have recently sailed on Pursuit and liked the new fabric shower curtains. The WiFi on our transatlantic was good; the hairdryers were the same
  11. Also, Onward is hosting the World Cruise and I have noticed that her 2024 cruises tend to be higher than the other ships for similar itineraries
  12. That’s good to hear. But in the meantime, I’m not going to book any excursions that I have to charge to my CC. And I guess I might have to wait until I’m onboard to book a future cruise using my “free” nights unless my correct loyalty level pops up in the six months before then.
  13. This is beginning to look like potentially a full time job once onboard. None of my OBC (Azamara or TA) is showing for my upcoming cruise and I don’t dare try to book any excursions. Never mind my loyalty status.
  14. Even the usually always positive folks on the Azamara FB page are starting to revolt! They are getting boilerplate responses (on FB) to individual complaints asking the person to DM them with their contact information and someone will get back to them.
  15. I’m sorry for your pain. Is this an issue that has to be sorted before your cruise?
  16. Well, in my case, the duplicate “reservations” are just offers and I haven’t yet made a deposit. But only because my TA can’t get through. I have now told him to just drop it. My remaining reservation has a final payment due next month and I will need to have a refer and receive credit applied. I’m sure my TA will have fun with THAT!
  17. After submitting a couple of the support forms, I received an email today stating that my issue about seeing my upcoming cruises had been resolved (NOT the issue I had submitted). When I logged on, I saw that I now have TWO Panama Canal cruises with different reservation and cabin numbers (same cruise) and my loyalty level is now Adventurer with zero points. Oh, and with a new loyalty number. Just keeps getting better and better!
