I've seen current reviews, i.e. Quantum to Alaska on Youtube by a great reviewer and he complained about the food both MDR and Windjammer. Lots of unhappy cruisers out there. I have every confidence that RCCL will be forced to capitulate on quality. And in time we'll be back to better menus. After ICON we're back to Celebrity on new Assent...may have to be our go to.

I am intensely interested in the Panoramic Oceanview cabins new category. The one we wanted with the Xs in the windows which we thought were closest to the Aquadome deck 14. But couldn't book it for 2 😡 Hoping we can switch after she gets here if they're not all gone. Looks like they are in this picture to the bottom right where the curtain hangs. Fat chance though as the cabin we booked an interior has already increase almost a $1000 for us. We booked it at $1186 pp and its' now over 1700. Boy am I glad I jumped on it in Oct.

I never did get one on Grandeur. We sat in the centrum for ages waiting to see, but no joy. Even pestered the Loyalty Ambassador about it, but still never did. So we went to our assigned cabin to dress for dinner...boohoo.

They were sparse on Odyssey but I found them every day in 270 cafe. YUM

Not even....made fresh every day right on board. Take a galley tour, they are fascinating. They took us to the proofing room where ALL the baked goods are made and the rolls are proofed. Many folks swear they are frozen...not.

Just how much does one have to invest before you are given an invitation for a comp cruise? I follow The Traveling Gamblers on youtube and they always have a comp cruise coming up, of course they spend a lot of dollars in there, but I'm checking it out. Thx

That is also not our experience. We had one adjusted almost $600 the last time we called on an deduction. That was probably last year some time, in fact we were alerted to the lower rate by Merion's Mom right on these boards. But it was the fare, not a discount. Personally I don't see the difference but it's their policy.

Yes, new price was way higher even with the discount. I was trying to get them to apply the military to my original price. It wasn't restricted nor group, but...I had just paid it off early! I've gotten lots of adjustments in the past on regular fares but not this time. All of those have been before final and not paid off.

And even then they might not allow it. My recent request for adjustment was denied when I found the Military discount has been offered on our Sept. cruise. Our final payment is June 5th! They would not allow an adjustment and I spoke with two agents. Things, they are a changin.

Mollie, This is the exact scenario and I talked to 2 different reps, they would not allow it. They both said not now. Would not allow the military refund and my final pay date is June 5th yet. I have done this several times in the past and they always did as you said...not anymore!

I am aware of that but final was June 5th and we were trying to get flight points by using a new AMEX card and we had to pay the cruise off to get them. Then after payoff, I noticed a Military discount on our cruise...long story short, no dice. We almost never pay off a cruise until final date for that reason. In the past they have been more agreeable. lately not so much.

I have also had this problem lately. Calling to get adjustments etc.on our upcoming Sept cruise that is paid in full but before the pay in full date, which in the past, they were given to us as OBC. I guess these are things of the past. No such thing as price guarantees etc. any more. Sadly, we're stuck with this junk. On UDP and UBP you can always cancel and rebook at the lower price, but no adjustments on discounts for the fare etc.any more.

They will work with you to resolve everything. I have not been disappointed many times...and these were usually rules that cannot be broken. Your dispute is not one. I think you will get results.

They gave us one yrs back, on my protest, even though I am disabled. At that time agent said they open any that aren't booked closer to cruise so we kept it. I can get along OK without it but we book them half the time and try to just do normal the other half. For the first time in Sept we'll be taking my new electric wheelchair, but we're in a reg. room. It's so small and folds up so efficiently, I don't think it will be a problem, we'll just fold it up and bring it inside.

We bought our Grandson private lessons for an evening on Flow Rider. He had it all to himself and absolutely loved it! Well worth the $69 I think for 30 minutes. Still talks about it and he's now 26. He was 15 then.
